Looks great and works great and seems very sturdy. I experienced no loss of sound quality in spite of the length of the cable; and so I can have my computer on one side of the room and my bed on the other, and listen to YouTube music videos on my bed with my eyes shut. It's nice to physically get away from the computer. I went ahead and paid extra for YouTube premium around the time I bought this cable to get rid of the ads. That way, for an hour on end, until an album's worth of music has ended, there's no dealing with a mouse, no touching a computer. We're all stuck with computers now, but the quality of life before tech was infinitely better. We can't get rid of tech, but audio extension cords like this can enable us to take the focus away from the computer itself and put it back onto the music. Any time you can use technology to undermine technology, you ought to; and getting physically away, eight feet away from the computer, and closing your eyes and not even looking at all the social justice messages that these indoctrinated 40-year-old children who run all our institutions are pushing on us — that is a good thing. So this cable not only works well, but it gives me hours of freedom from the continual, cloying, nagging, cringeworthy mind-set of the tech giants. Note: I disapprove of even the existence of Amazon, but hypocritically use it because I'm very low-income and the alternatives are often too expensive for me; and so yes, ironically, I used big tech to buy this cable, and also, simultaneously, I really despise the entire value system of these brainwashed children that control every tech corporation now. This cable helps me not look at them for an hour or two here and there, and so that's worth it.

I've been looking for an extension cable that would withstand a lot of moving around. I have a wired headset that I use in my cubicle, and needed an extension cable that met the following criteria: - 3.5mm jack with mic passthrough - Shielding to prevent degrading audio quality - Quality build Surprisingly, not many on the Amazon met this criteria, price notwithstanding. I went with this one. So far, it has been good. Pros: - Shielding indeed keeps sound quality good, or at least good enough for my headphones; no sound degradation, bleeding, hissing, or popping that I could tell. - Nylon braiding on the cable should provide better-than-average durability for cables - Mic passthrough, as promised; can be used with Apple earbuds and Bose QuietComfort 25 without issue. But it is not perfect. Cons: - I can see the junction point where cable meets the connector being worn out faster than anywhere else. Where it would have made more sense to cover with pliable rubber, they've decided that thick block of rubber would look more tough and went with that instead; that ironically would put more stress on the cable. - Cable is heavy and relatively inflexible, but that's the tradeoff you get with a cable that's shielded and braided; unless someone performs some voodoo black magic on these things, I don't think that's something that can be fixed. - Cable is being sold by a company that I have never heard of before that could very well disappear from the face of the Earth tomorrow. I think this is currently an epidemic in Amazon. - The packaging says "unconditional lifetime warranty"--good. But You also get a card inside that says "add an extended 18 months to your warranty? Register at the website." How do you extend a warranty that's already lifetime? Are you going to bring this cable back from the dead and then some? Overall, for what I've paid and what I was looking for, it is excellent. Looking forward to using this for quite some time.

I have a really nice high-end boom box on my desk at work, which I use to play classical music. My office requires we keep the sound so low you can barely hear it unless you listen on earphones. I personally do not like Bluetooth. The problem is that I have to set my boom box off to the side so that it doesn't block my double monitors. The cord on my wired noise-canceling earbuds can just barely reach the jack but limits my movement. I got this extended hoping it would help. It works great. No sound distortion at all. My noise-canceling wired earbuds sound just as good as ever, but now I have room to turn my head, twist my upper body (as needed) roll back to open a drawer, etc., all without having to take off my earbuds as I was having to do before. The sound quality is great with this, no distortion at all, good base tone, clear treble, classical and rock, and pop all sound just fine, and now you have room to move to the beat. LOL.

Great quality cable - as advertised and works as expected.

I felt this was a high quality product. The strain relieves work well, the outside cover is durable, and the wire seem well shielded. The connectors were solid. In the time I have used this product it has not failed or introduced static.

Great length, good quality, and it supports microphone for headsets (has 3 black rings on the end). I got it for an extension for my Nintendo Switch headset. NOTE: if mic isn't working it is probably the game settings, headset, or gaming system and not this extension cable.

I needed an extra long headphone/microphone extension cable and this was the answer. It works flawlessly and I haven't experienced any audio lag/latency. It's a great product.

What is good about this product? - The braided design with metal casings on the ends is very strong and I have noticed no damage over my past 5 years of using it - I am currently using this as an extension cable for my headset and have it mounted under my desk and running to my PC. After years of constant plugging and unplugging, it has held up - The 8 foot version is perfect for a desk where your headphones wont reach to your computer - No changes to quality through my headset or headset microphone Would I suggest that you pick up this cable? Yes, for sure! It does everything advertised and is very durable, will likely last many more years of use for me
