the shiny blue ball
Love it. Loaded with intricate locations and waterways. Need a magnifying glass, print small. Very educational and easy to find things that you're looking for.

Good Quality
I’m impressed with the clarity and contrast of the country/state/city names and the brilliance of the globe’s color. The base is made of lightweight plastic, and I wish it was made of sturdier material. I’m not sure how it will hold up to long term handling.

The globe
The globe is very well done. Easy to read the different countries.

Very hard to put together
I had to melt the inside of the base to make the bracket that holds the globe fit inside and stay. I tried everything before resorting to a match, but I also didn't want to snap the plastic bracket or damage the outside of the base. If your base doesn't snap and twist on easily try melting the inside of the base a little bit. I was finally able to jam it in and then it twisted into place and is very snug. If it weren't for that trouble and if it weren't so expensive ($54), I'd give it 5 stars. It's a gift for my 4 year old though and I'm sure he'll love it. Great beginner globe for curious kids.
