I became a fan of BulkSupplements with my very first order. Like some others here, I track my food so I know that my diet is potassium deficient. With Bulk I can adjust my dose to get just what I need, which is sometimes impossible with supplements in pill form. I like that I don't have to worry about stearates or pollutants. I just wanted potassium and that's all that's in the bag. The package I got had over 1800 servings for around $15. I haven't found a better deal anywhere. I read the reviews before ordering and I noticed that many people said that they had improved sleep with this product. I did not think I had any sleep problems, I slept okay, got up once to go to the bathroom during the night, then went back to sleep. I've never been a morning person because I feel like crap when I get up in the morning. I feel ill and it takes an hour or so to start feeling normal. I started using this potassium citrate and zinc orotate, also from Bulk. A week later I have stopped getting up in the night at all. I'm sleeping right through the night and I don't feel so crappy when I wake up. I didn't think I had any problem in this area, yet I've seen an improvement. There is an old adage that's often applied to food and supplements: "Good, fast, cheap. You can only get two out of three. If it's good and fast, it won't be cheap. If it's fast and cheap, it won't be very good." With Bulk I thought to myself that it's good quality, cheap price, so it won't be fast. Weighing out my doses is going to take time, or maybe it will take a month to get my order. I was wrong on both counts. My order arrived in two days and weighing out a dose takes only a second. I was surprised at how little time it takes. Sure it's not as fast as just popping a pill, but it really only takes a few extra seconds - for me, it is time well spent. If you are going to go to the trouble to supplement, you might as well use the best product you can get, even if it takes 2 extra seconds out of your day. With a cheap digital scale, weighing takes almost no time. What takes a long time is shopping for vitamins: researching, reading all the fine print on all the bottles, researching the contaminants trying to decide which contaminants I'm willing to expose myself to, etc. I think that Bulk is going to save me hours of shopping time over a year. Bulk Supplements has done the "impossible" and provided all three: good, cheap, and fast. I'm going to be ordering from Bulk again in the near future. I take a lot of supplements, so as I run out of each one, I plan to replace it with a Bulk product.

I started on a ketogenic diet a couple of months ago, and as anyone knows who has tried it, the pickins are slim when it comes to potassium. The majority of potassium is contained in plant sources such as dark leafy vegetables and grains, and those aren't always doable while doing keto (in fact, grains are off limits). Red meat contains some potassium, but I can't get enough of that in a day. Fish is an excellent animal-based source of potassium, but I just don't like it. :-P Soon after I started my diet it was clear that I was lacking potassium; I had a lot of muscle weakness and some other minor symptoms. It was frustrating not to be able to find anything stronger than 99 mg of potassium when I was literally lacking thousands of mg a day. After consulting with my doctor I was given the go-ahead (encouraged, even) to take as much potassium as I need (I count my potassium intake via food sources every day and supplement accordingly). I'm really happy with this purchase. The potassium comes in a durable pouch with a durable zipper and the pouch stands up on its own. The crystals are a bit bigger than that of standard table sugar or salt. It dissolves readily in water or any other beverage of choice. I have personally found that I need to take small amounts throughout the day because if I don't I get kind of a "heavy" feeling in my muscles that's hard to describe. This potassium citrate contains 36% elemental potassium, so 1/8 tsp = 257 mg. On BulkSupplement's website, they recommend no more than 275 mg of potassium citrate a day, so be sure to do the right thing and check with your doc before taking more than that. In summary, I'm very happy with the packaging and the quality of the product and will be back to purchase this item again. Thanks for making this available, BulkSupplements. :)

Unfortunately if you read the reviews everyone talks about the measurement of this particular product being a real negative issue and rightfully so. What I found that works for me was I would mix a quarter teaspoon into a gallon of water shake that up with lime juice and I would consume half of it in one day and half of the other typically post in during workouts anymore than that and you tend to feel a little anxious red in the face those are not good signs. So when taken correctly this product works amazingly I found myself having more stamina, more endurance, less cramping, less soreness days after workouts. PLEASE just be aware of the measurement because too much of this stuff will hurt you. I want to stress the positives as my blood pressure has come down, I sleep better at night. I noticed it bloating and water retention also known as edema has gone away. Even though my blood results all showed that I was well within range for my potassium I noticed positive results after trying several potassium supplements. I found that my body did react well when given certain dosages. I switched to this product because I was having to take too many pills of the 99 mg measurements of over-the-counter potassium supplements. Not to mention that potassium chloride gave me diarrhea, gas, & stomach cramping. The pricing and the fact that this potassium citrate is really easy on my digestive system is why I recommend this product.

I really like Bulk Supplements; I like their service and the quality of their products. With the Potassium I see a need for improvement on the measurements. My experience is as follows. I found that I was waking up each morning aching, stiff and yes, creaking. I mentioned it to my daughter and she said to take 3 Potassium's each night before bed. The first evening I did this, wow what a difference it made. The second morning was even better. I was no longer waking up aching. I still creaked some but it has lessened. I had ordered some other products from Bulk Supplements and since I was almost out of my Now Potassium Citrate, I thought I would try the Pure Potassium Powder. The first evening I did my best to follow the instructions. The next morning I was back to aching and creaking. It took some research (thanks to everyone out there that wrote in about specifics) as well as looking up conversions on the internet. For further information go to the Bulk supplement web site and look under this product. It will provide the spoon size for 3 different doses although not the 275 mg recommended – no spoon size for this amount. There were also very strict warnings and I did not want to experience anything dangerous or fatal. The most important thing I found was that 1 (99 mg) pill was equal to 275 mg of this potassium. For the last 3 days I have slowing increased my potassium to what I was originally taking in pill form and am now doing much better again. The aching has stopped and the creaking is lessoning. I will continue to be careful with the product and look forward to more time on the increased dosage but will pay attention to the warnings as well as my daily intake of food based potassium.

This potassium citrate from bulk supplements is the best on the market. It is just pure potassium no fillers. The serving size is 1/8 tsp as far as I can tell reading online but I've taken 1/4 tsp just fine. It is NOT flavor free. It has a odd taste to it, almost bitter if taken with just water. I have to take it with juice to hide the horrible flavor. I prefer taking it in powder form because the price point is better and I can control the dose without taking more pills. I also have to take it with food or my stomach gets messed up. My stomach is pretty sensitive to supplements though. 10/10 once you get past the flavor

I used to work out a lot, and got out of the swing of things for about two years. I am 6’2 currently 225lbs. I have recently started hitting the gym regularly and started my supplementation routine up again. I am not a professional bodybuilder, more casual, but I do deem certain supplements to be critical in muscle building and repair. Product Review: I have gotten all of the supplements listed above from Bulk Supplements except for Whey Protein, and my multi-vitamin. The supplements all come in an opaque, silver, Ziploc bag. I have opted to ditch the bags and use other containers as the zip lock on the bag is sometimes uncooperative. Also, if you buy in bulk, and the bag gets low, you have to reach your whole hand in to the bag to scoop out product. Product gets all over your hand and it can get a little messy trying to scoop it right out of these bags. This isn’t a big deal at all to me; it’s just easier to use a different container with a screw on or lock tight lid. You will also want to pick up a measuring spoon set, as most of the supplements are in powdered form and require a specific dosage. You can estimate using a teaspoon only, but a measuring spoon set is fairly cheap. All of the supplements are clean, pure, and exactly what they say they are on the label. You will need to do your own independent research to determine the dosage of what you want to take, because the bags have recommended ranges of dosages, and not specific dosages listed. So, do your research based on your body weight and type, and figure out the dose you need, and when and how often you need to take it! To summarize, Bulk Supplements is an honest, customer friendly company, with good products to match. I have no complaints about anything.

Bought to diy LMNT (they have the recipe on their website) and this is one of the ingredients. Works well, dissolves easy enough. Would recommend.

I've always been a heavy sweater, it was never a problem in my youth, 3 kids later and pushing 40 I developed debilitating nocturia which has destroyed my ability to sleep and made my life very difficult. Since taking this, instead of getting up 5-15 times a night, it's been a consistent 1 time. If I have a busy day and forget to take it, there's a noticeable difference. Given how huge and affordable this bag is I feel like I might be able to sleep through the night forever now.

Product is great. Would recommend adding a desiccant sachet and checking the correct RDI as the company has a habit of suggesting much higher amounts than the average RDI.
