Great speed loader works very well easy to use

Very well made and will grip the counter or table top with ease, it makes reloading your magazine more enjoyable. You will feel like you should have purchased it months ago because how easy and fast it works! I would definitely recommend to anyone it is not like the one that come from the factory. I can reload my 33rd mag in under 1 minute

It works but it's not necessarily a speed loader. Yes it helps not making your thumb numb. It did come with three loaders. I wasn't expecting that. But I'll see if any of my friends could use those. But for the price it works.

The quality appears to be good for what is, a piece of plastic. Critiques I read for other brands described a cheap rough finish. This one has a nice quality finish. I bought it for my new S&W 9mm Sheild. It is difficult to load the magazine by hand, especially the last few rounds. This loader makes the job easier, but with a few issues. When depress the spring to insert the first round, the round carrier cocks back and jams if compressed too far. That issue goes away after the first round is in. For the remaining rounds, this loader is a big help but it still takes a good bit of effort to get the round fully inserted. Perhaps it will get better with experience and weakening of the magazine spring with use. But it wasn't as easy as some videos you might see would have you believing. I guess I would recommend this loader since it is much better than nothing and probably works just as good as any other similar device. UPDATE 8/29/2020 After using this thing for the last 4 or 5 days, I'm upgrading from 3 stars to 5. This device does what it is suppose to do. It presses down the previous round to provide room to START the next round in the magazine. Once that round is in far enough to hit the tab on the device that is pressing the previous round down, you have to raise the device far enough to clear the round you are inserting. Then you can use your thumb to press the round in completely. This will take a little effort on your part. But all this device does is make room to start the next round. It's up to you to muscle it in the rest of the way. If you are expecting to be able to drop a round in, press the device down, and the round be loaded, you will be disappointed. That's not what this thing does.

Getting the 15th and 16th 9mm round in a 16 round magazine was impossible for me as it took darn near 20 minutes just get 14 loaded in the magazine for the S&W SD9 VE. I seriously considered trading the gun UNTIL I discovered this company and read that they have invented a speed loader specific to different semi-automatic handguns. Luckily, they had one for the S&W SD9 VE. It works like a charm!! I was able to effortless load all 16 rounds in less than a few minutes. Now, it is a breeze and so easy that "even a Caveman can do it! " It is worth every $1 of its $18 price! Highly Recommend!! A++

I have purchased several of these mag loaders. They’re not the best,but ok. Except one. The loader for S&W 10 mm will barely allow the cartridge to be inserted. The plastic tab that pushes the cartridges down is too far forward. The round has to be held firmly to the rear before raising the loader for next round. If not,it will slip out!

I ordered this for my Smith and Wesson FPC rifle. The mags were impossible to load by hand. I opened the package to find 3 mag loaders of different sizes. The one I needed was there; it works perfectly! So, there are no worries about ordering this item. The fit is guaranteed!

Looks like a decent amount of folks receive the wrong-sized loader, but I was one of the majority that got exactly what I needed. I ordered the S&W M&P 9mm option and it fits my factory M&P9 2.0 Compact magazines almost perfectly. I say "almost" because there is the slightest amount of side to side play but I'm talking minuscule play. Maybe a 1mm shift from left to right. Other than that, works great. I'm not a slow loader by any means and I wouldn't say this is necessarily a noticeably faster loading option over using just my fingers, but it is definitely easier on my fingers. I shoot a high volume of rounds during my range trips, and my thumb gets a bit worn towards the end of the session. Also, pushing down hard to get get the final rounds loaded and having your thumb slip off and snag on the sharp steel lip of the magazine is unpleasant and happens to me at least two or three times a session. This loader eliminates that. Pros: Inexpensive Durable Allows you to use your arm's strength to effortlessly push already-loaded rounds down and out of the way so you can slip the next round in without strain. Cleaner hands - Instead of having to hold onto the magazine with a death grip, you can essentially reload without really touching the magazine if you stand it up on the table/bench and just hold onto the loader Cons: I can't really think of anything to complain about. It is simple, durable, and has no moving parts to fail. It is what it is.

This Makershot Mag Loader really saves the thumb when loading mags, especially the last few rounds. It is very easy to use and for the price it is well worth the purchase. It arrived fairly quickly, 2 weeks.

Defiantly a good fit for the S&W, M&P 9mm. I bought it by mistake thinking it would fit the S&W SD9VE 9mm, being that a few items do work for both like the BlackHawk holster. I was wrong and contacted the seller, which in turn reimbursed me for the item. I did loose out on the shipping but hey, no problem. I'll have to keep looking.
