Exactly the size I needed, impossible to find in stores. Have a few large serving plates and the 13" diameter covers the dish perfectly. For anyone using these, the collapsible silicone rocks. Easy to store, clean etc.

This cover helps keep my microwave clean from splatter. It’s large enough to cover anything that would fit, the only thing I would change about this product is it would be nice to have more optional height for taller dishes. It’s easy to clean and I’ve noticed the food is more evenly heated when using the cover.

I picked up this microwave food cover because my microwave door was looking like a Jackson Pollock painting after reheating leftovers — and this little cover has totally changed the game. Assembly/Set-Up: No assembly needed at all — just unpack, rinse, and place it over your dish. It fits nicely over my standard dinner plate and shallow bowls, right out of the box. Design & Functionality: The size is perfect for my micro-kitchen setup — it covers most plates/bowls I use without feeling oversized or awkward. The material (mine is [insert color/clear/vented version]) feels sturdy, not flimsy. The vents on top do a great job releasing steam so food heats evenly without getting soggy or the cover wobbling. (This aligns with what reviewers say about effective venting in these covers). When I’m done, the cover is easy to clean — dishwasher safe (top rack) or just a quick hand rinse works fine. Performance: Zero more tomato-sauce splatter all over the interior of the microwave. My leftovers stay moist and warm while heating — I don’t get weird dry edges or the “plate-hot, food-cold” effect anymore. Because the cover doesn’t press down onto the food, it’s safe for bulky bowls, and the clearance is just right so nothing hits it during rotation. What could be better: If your bowl is really tall or you’re using a large casserole dish, the clearance might feel a little tight — so a “taller” model might suit those more than this standard size. While very easy to clean, the vents can trap tiny food splashes over time; wiping them weekly helps keep it looking brand new. Bottom line: For the price and simplicity, this microwave food cover is a winner. It keeps my microwave clean, helps food heat better, and just makes sense. If you’re tired of mystery stains in your microwave or reheating food that ends up uneven, I absolutely recommend this. I’ll be buying this again when mine eventually wears out.

Large cover and tall. The last one i had touched the top of my food when heating it. So glad I bought this.

This is really a perfect solution for my needs. Once you stretch out product, the height is perfect. Completely saves my microwave from getting food spatters all over the inside. And it is easy to clean. A winner!

These food covers protectors are just what my family needs. No more nasty microwave. Easy to clean.

Wish the largest cover was higher.

This microwave splatter cover is wide enough to protect even a large plate. It’s lightweight and folds down flat for easy storage, though it is a bit difficult to pull back out to the open position. It hand washes well. It’s not something I’d put in the dishwasher because it needs to be on the top shelf and it takes too much space. I do wish it opened a bit taller, because it probably wouldn’t work for large items like baked potatoes. And it doesn’t look as durable as some splatter covers I’ve seen. But time will tell.

I previously owned a medium sized Tovolo splatter cover. The medium cover covers the food on the plate but sits on the edge of the plate. I thought I'd try the larger diameter, but I feel it's too large. Every plate I've tried, the large size covers completely and sits on the microwave turn table. The downsides are that it's so big it's difficult to get out of the microwave when covered in steam. Additionally, it's very big and difficult to fit in the dishwasher when expanded. Otherwise, the product functions as expected and advertised. Tovolo silicone doesn't smell even after the first use, unlike competitors. I've subsequently bought another medium sized cover.

This is an excellent food cover for use in the microwave. It is flexible, yet sturdy. The many holes in the cover let the steam escape evenly and prevent over-heating. We use it mainly for popping corn in the microwave and we get best results using this cover (as compared to another cover with only a couple of holes). This cover is also GBA free.
