I have dabbled with a number of these waterproof boxes for a garden project and this product was by far the best. The construction of the box is solid, the connectors actually work properly and the access for three way armoured (and inflexible) cable is good. Be aware that some connectors are entirely impossible when working with armoured cable as they offer no room to manoeuvre the wiring into the chocolate box.

Good quality, tough plastic. Good seals supplied so will probably be waterproof in rain/snow (and spares seals supplied).I like that the connection block is not fixed in place in the outer shell, which makes it easier to connect the wires and then slide it into place when everything is connected.

Box itself is all good. The wire termination block inside though is too small to easily add the two output wires into if they are larger diameter copper, as mine were. I had to replace it with another block that luckily I had lying about.Also the selection of yellow seals would not be small enough diameter for a complete waterproof seal if using smaller diameter cable.

This splitter is great! Very easy to attach to the wall, the rubber seals are great and allow you to use a variety of cable sizes without warrying about water ingress. Plenty of space inside to wire up. Great finish and will work for many scenarios

Good quality, strong box. The gaskets seem good, so should keep out moisture. I would suspect that the minimum cable size for a good seal is around 8mm diameter even on the smaller washer.

Used these for wiring buried driveway lighting after the professional install failed due to damp ingress, in conjunction with ‘Magic Gel’ - which I pour into the box to completely cover the wiring.I have used a similar approach for similar buried wiring for some patio lights. These have been installed for 5 years now with no issue.If you have a similar electrical installation, always assure appropriate IP rated components are used.

The connector is too small to take 2 wires so used our own.Otherwise all ok!
