Bought for my 14 year old son. He loves it. The screen size is big enough to see comfortably.Functions as it should. Holds up well being used by a teenager! Very pleased with the design and this laptop in general.

great computer for average usage. My 16 year old makes music with FL studio with it.

Just as an FYI, you are not immediately able to add any applications. For example, I have a Cricut machine and I use InkScape for my SVG files. I would not have been able to download those applications from just removing it from the box, turning it on and trying to install those apps. I had to have the S mode disabled in order to install any applications. Maybe Microsoft's way to force you to set up an account?? From what I understand, if you do set up an account, it does make it easier to disable the S mode. I took this new computer to a professional to get it set up. Hope this makes sense, as I am not a computer wiz!

My only true complaint are the keys, the letters are hard to see if you are not working under good bright light. Someone mentioned that the keys are loud. Granted they are not like my laptop at work that makes no sound, but they don't sound like a clumpy typewriter or cheap keyboard.I have never been able to quite figure out how to multitask an a laptop, but this one almost does it for you, and I absolutely love that. I also love that it connected to my phone with no hiccups whatsoever. I can be video chatting on my laptop, have a message come through on the phone and answer the message on the laptop and never skip a beat. I also enjoy that without being touchscreen, it has and can download apps without feeling like a laptop. This is a good fast computer for the price. I would recommend it highly to anyone that is not super high-tech ( not sure if it's a gaming laptop) and looking for a nice home laptop

Beware! Do not buy this compute!! It is in S Mode, and you will have a difficult time getting it out of S Mode. 11 S is not an operating system. What 11 S means is that 11 Home or 11 Pro are in Safe Mode ("S"). Safe Mode prohibits you from changing options preset by Microsoft, such as changing the "App Recommendation Settings."I learned about this the hard way when I tried to download Mozilla Fire Fox from the Firefox website. Microsoft prohibited me from downloading the Firefox app. You will not be able to download any apps accept those that are in the Microsoft store.Supposedly, it can be taken out of Safe Mode easily, but I couldn't do it, and neither could the computer technologist at Amazon.Amazon refunded my money. Beware! This looks like it is a Microsoft trick to force consumers to use the apps they provide in their store, which often fool consumers into giving Microsoft personal information.

Okay laptop; however, 1 USB Type-C® 5Gbps signaling rate (supports data transfer only and does not support charging or external monitors) so I can't use my docking station for this laptop.

My old HP laptop died (after12 years) - it was an i-5 that I used when working from home. So, after retiring and some research, I decided I didn’t need a lot of hard drive nor speed so I “settled” for this laptop.I was wrong. This new one with double the ram I had is faster and works very well for what I use it for. Most things I do are internet based (google docs/sheets rather than Word or Excel), etc so this is just right for me.Easy to get set up , Windows 11 is great just a bit different. I’m 76 and had no issues in getting it set up and running !!
