Disappointing
The kit has over 800 pcs so initially we thought it was good value, but little did we know 200 pcs are just tiny bits that serve the purpose of the soil - so they are just strewn on the base - no building required. I feel for Lego that is a bit wasteful as we want to build with Lego not just pour in the pieces on the base. And a further 100 pieces go to the pink frogs which again seems a bit if a con. Overall pretty disappointing in terms of value and the build as well. Doesn't seem very sturdy either which all the Lego sets are usually.

I bought this because I’ve officially been banned from the local garden centre for crimes against horticulture. If you can kill a fern tree, this LEGO Bonsai is your path to redemption. The Build & Experience Frog-pocalypse. The "Cherry Blossom" version is actually made of 101 tiny pink LEGO frogs. It is both brilliant and deeply unsettling. I spent an hour assembling a literal frog-tree. 10/10 for creativity. Dual Seasons: It comes with two full sets of leaves (Green and Pink). Swapping them takes about 5 minutes, allowing you to "change seasons" whenever you remember what month it is. Structural Integrity: The "wooden" stand is built from LEGO bricks but looks surprisingly high-end. It doesn't look like a toy from a distance, it looks like a piece of home décor. Pros & ConsPros: Never wilts, zero watering required, and it’s a great conversation starter ("Is that a frog?"). Cons: The "pot" is filled with loose LEGO "pebbles" (1x1 round tiles). If you knock this off your desk, you will be finding plastic gravel until the year 2030. Verdict Perfect for adults who want a Zen vibe without the responsibility of a living organism. It’s sturdy, fits perfectly on a bookshelf, and is the only plant I’ve ever owned that hasn't turned brown and crispy within a week.
