Bonide Mosquito Beater Granules, 1.3 lbs Ready-to-Use

Highly recommend as a quick, natural help to the little buggers!

Love this product I put it in little bowls around my door that way mosquitos don’t come in while we’re getting in the house. Now if you are sensitive to strong scents then don’t be so generous with it. I put this around my back door and you could smell it from the street. But does it’s job and keeps mosquitos at bay, now I do have to put new granules at least every 3 days because the smell does go down a little and some mosquitos do come through. But over all great product. Will buy again when I run out.

This mosquito repellant does an ok job. It claims to work for up to 3 weeks, but I have used it for years and it has only worked for up to 4 days for me. Normally lasts about 3 days. It has a very pleasant smell. The granules are small. The container allows for you to shake the product, but I normally use a broadcast spreader. I have found that if I put it out on Friday afternoon/evening, my get together on Saturday is normally mosquito free.

This is easy to spread around. It's just granules. And it's effective. I spread this around my patio and on the driveway area where I grill, and this keeps the skeeters away. There is a strong odor when you first apply it, and it's not a BAD odor, just strong. It fades within a half hour though, so it isn't that bad. And I might be sensitive to the citronella odor, so take my comment with a grain of salt. I would say that this is a good product that does what it claims to do.

I spread this all over my back patio. The mosquitoes totally ignored it and were hovering inches above an area where I actually had about a 6” thick layer of it. I have tested just about every product available to prevent mosquitoes and I still get not just bites, but sometimes bites that look like welts. I live in FL abd you can’t avoid them in summer. Things that actually help to not get mosquitoes bites in Florida 1 - fans, they seem to keep mosquitoes from entering the area where the air is pushing out, obviously the stronger the better. Not a special mosquito fan, just a fan 2 - try and avoid being outside within 2-3 hours before and after of the sun going down. 3 - don’t go outside in summer especially after 5:30 pm if you can avoid it If you do get bites, I highly recommend the Benedryl spray, it takes the sting away fast. The smell of this product is not bad but what’s the point if it doesn’t work? I wish I could return this.

This works ok but only good for a few hours. Also container was half full, decided to check the weight and discovered the net weight was not 1.31#, product was 14 oz.

Mosquito Beater works great in our yard - sprinkle a few times throughout mosquito season and you're able to enjoy your outdoor areas without constantly swatting or itching. Smells nice, I think it's essential oils mixed with ground up corn cobs or such--non toxic to our dogs and also environmentally safe. this is our fourth season utilizing this product and will most definitely be in stock in the garden shed

I love how this repells rather than kills. The products that kill mosquitoes also kill other insects like fireflies. That I cannot do. I bought this after a friend recommended it. I love it. I sprinkle it on the ground when I am at my clubs astronomy site. I sprinkle it around my campsite. I also sprinkle it around my garden. I've used it for years and keep buying it every year.
