MYDASH 14.9'' Portable DVD Player with Screen for Car, Home & Travel

I really like this portable DVD player. I bought it for when I go camping. I have used it for 2 camping trips since I bought it. It is very easy to use and comes with a remote control which is very nice. The picture quality is good, I wish the volume could be a little louder for when there is noise around you but it is still a good product.

I purchased the MYDASH 12.5" Portable DVD Player for my 13-year-old autistic daughter, and it has been absolutely perfect for her. She has a deep love for DVDs and watches them every single day, so having a reliable, easy-to-use player is incredibly important for her routine—and this one has not disappointed. The screen is a great size—large enough to enjoy her favorite shows without straining her eyes, but still lightweight and portable enough for her to carry around the house or take with us on car rides or trips. The picture and sound quality are both very good, and the swivel screen is a nice bonus. She was able to start using it right away with minimal help. The buttons are intuitive, and the remote makes it even easier for her to navigate. The battery life has been solid so far, and we love that it also works while plugged in, just in case. For the price, this DVD player is an incredible value. It’s durable, dependable, and has quickly become one of her favorite items. If you have a child who finds comfort in routines and favorite DVDs like mine does, this player is a wonderful choice. Highly recommend!

The DVD player works pretty good. Have had an issue with a couple dvds not playing when the player is turned upright. However, this included car mount holder it comes with is not safe. The edges are too thin to hold the large DVD player. We’ve had it fall out a couple times. Major safety hazard when being used in a car. I’m afraid if we got in an accident that it would projectile out quite easily. Since this was our primary purpose for the player, I can’t give it a good rating. The company wanted to right the situation with the product after my review. The second dvd works fine, so I’m upping my review. The new case is holding up for now. However, I feel it will stretch out just like the last one and become unsafe. I have since found a safer case to fit the player and will replace it if the new one gives out.

This portable DVD player exceeded my expectations. The swivel screen is bright and sharp, and the large 14.9" size is perfect for watching movies comfortably. The battery life is impressive and holds up well for long trips. I love that it supports DVDs from all regions and also plays videos from USB and SD cards. The build feels sturdy, and it’s easy to use. A fantastic travel companion for road trips, airplanes, and home use.

I purchased this DVD player 4 months ago. Only used it about 10 times. When I tried to charge the battery 4 days ago, it would not charge, even though I followed the instructions to charge it once a month to avoid battery failure. I sent 3 emails to their so called customer service, explaining the issue, asking how long the warranty was, and asking for their help. I have not received an answer to my emails, even after informing them in my third email that I would be posting my results and telling them that I would post it a ZERO if that were possible, if I did not hear from them within 24 hours. Still no response. The first red flag should have gone up when there was no warranty info listed either on Amazon or even their own website. The second red flag should have been when I saw that this model wasn't even listed on their website for warranty registration. Had to contact customer service questioning this and did receive an email stating they registered my DVD player for its warranty. Don't know if that was actually true. Based on the battery only lasting 4 months, and not receiving a response to my emails from them, I would advise anyone looking at this, or ANY electronics from this company to look elsewhere. UPDATE 08-19-24: I finally received a reply from customer service. In it they requested proof of my order, name, address, etc. and said they would send me a brand new product. If that actually happens, I'll do another update. UPDATE 10-02-24: I neglected to update after hearing from their customer service. Shortly after I posted the above review, their customer service contacted me and informed me they would issue a full refund, which they did. Then on 09-25-24, to my surprise they reached out again and profusely apologized. They said they had "inventoried" their emails and did not receive any of my emails. They also offered to to send me a new DVD player, free of charge. I sent a response, saying that they had already issued a refunded. The next day they sent another message stating that they wanted to send me the DVD player as compensation for the stress and inconvenience I had experienced. I agreed, and received the new DVD player the next morning. The company's customer service really came through.

Very awesome gift to give for all ages! I got this to remove my kids from choosing different things off YouTube. Allows great family time and good for long trips and stick it on the back of the seat. Gets to choose dvd from library and teach newer generation about DVD. Very happy with the purchase just as it describes. A bit heavier than I thought and came with great packaging. Easy to use and good color qualities l ( make sure to peel off screen plastic

It arrived damaged. I took it straight out of the box to test out and I saw those little black dots. I felt the screen thinking it was something stuck on it, like food or lint or whatever. Nothing was stuck on it, its minor damage to the screen. Other than the damage, it played the dvd just fine. I only tried it for a few minutes before turning it off though. The damage is pretty small but after paying more than $50, I was expecting better quality than this.
