Cuts like a knife! Ha, ha...works really well. Love it on tomatoes and veggies. Works well on steak & chicken, too. Grip feels safe and comfortable, too. I'll come back and give an update after I've had it for awhile. But, so far, so good. Nice value for the money.UPDATE: Downgrading to 4 stars, instead of 5, because the serrated edge is only on one side. So, while sharp, it tends to lean one way and doesn't provide a clean, even cut all the time.

Great balance, fit my hand nicely, sharp and looks really good.

Razor sharp is no exaggeration! We even cut our hands accidentally pressing on the non serrated top edge of the knife and I have taken a stone to those edges so as to not injure ourselves further. Great balance, excellent construction and top grade handle and materials. I'm sure this will become a permanent addition to our knife collection and feels like it will last forever.

Not what I expected from HENCKELS standard. Made by Zwilling in India for Henckels. Should have known because it is a stamped not forged blade. THIN, flexes far too easily suggesting a lower quality steel than I had been expecting. A good tomato knife need not have so much flex. This one is excessive - disappointing - possibly a spring steel. I have other ZYLISS branded, serrated knives from Amazon that are surprisingly far better designed. They were 1/2 cheaper but better in all respects except the handle. Rated higher by others as well.The only positive is the triple riveted handle which some may consider heavy. Do not like to leave negative reviews, but would not recommend.
