I cut & applied this anti-slip/added footing grip tape to our kitchen foot stool, my aluminum garage ladder, and the pull-down attic ladder. This is quality stuff. The grit level is definitely good for keeping your footing on a ladder or foldable 3-stp kitchen foot stool to reach higher cabinets/pantry shelves; and, the tape is obviously from 3M (or, a rare knock-off that is actually equivalent to its adhesive quality) because it sticks solidly - you will have a hard time pulling it off if you aren't careful the first time. And, for grins I took the foot stool into our downstairs bathroom with no windows and sure enough, the glow-strip glows brightly. I don't believe its glowing properties would ever come in handy, but its bright color strip will guide your feet to (or, away from) the edge of the step. the 4" width was the right size for my purposes. I had to cut/affix them two strips wide on some of the wider steps, and the wooden steps on my pull-down attic ladder are 3" wide, so there was some overhang - but, instead of cutting off the extra inch, I folded it over on the front and used 4 silver thumb-tacks to keep it securely folded over in case the adhesive tape ever fatigues and wants to loosen/pull up from being folded over at a 45 degree angle. Even after applying the tape to all (3) devices there is still 5-6 feet left over for a future. I highly recommend this no-slip tape, but only for permanent applications and i don't know whether it is designed for any application outdoors (i.e. deck/patio.

Works great, sticks very tight to metal surfaces

These are durable and water proof. They lasted me 2 years out side on my steps. easy to cut and easy to apply.

The grip is good. I used this on an under desk foot stool, so I could put pressure on the stool without slipping. The adhesive needs to be a bit more sticky. It took a lot of rolling with a wider heavier roller than provided to get it to stick well.

This does exactly what it says it does and it lasts for one season maybe a season and a half but you will need to replace it. It’s easy to pull off and clean the area and replace. We have done this twice now and I really appreciate the glow in the dark part more than anything else I think.

This is perfect for my motorhome steps. I also used it on my dog stairs, so she can climb up and see out of the window. The rest, I will give to my son for the deck stairs for his farmhouse. I highly recommend this tape. It's perfect in every way. It sticks great to the steps. Just cut it to the correct lengths and line it up. I'm super impressed. It even gave my steps a face lift and made them look newer haha. It's easy to just sweep them or vacuum them.

Did not last very long. We followed the instructions and even looked up tips online. Nothing worked. Only lasted about 2 months before it peels right up.

If you're looking for something very grippy (soft rubber like), this isn't going to cut it. The adhesive is decent and sticks well to the compatible surface, but the grippiness is lacking for my needs.

The tape peels off after less than a week of usage and is not waterproof.
