TL;DR: LRP Toleraine Double Repair is a high performance, non-greasy, non-irritating, water-loss prevention barrier cream. It's a thick lotion with glycerin, dimethicone and niacinamide to protect the skin barrier immediately. It's not an elegant formula, but it's an effective one. And the niacinamide can help even skin tone over time. My experience: I like this for when I have abraded or compromised patches of skin that need an occlusive, protective lotion, but not an ointment. It does a good job for that. But for my everyday sensitive skin, I prefer Vanicream Daily Facial Moisturizer which has squalane instead of silicone oils, more ceramides, and leaves my skin feeling softer and more cushioned feeling than the LRP. LRP Toleraine is more of a barrier protectant. It soaks in quickly and provides a good barrier if your skin tends to get dry feeling from wearing sunscreen or makeup, or you have patches that need that protective layer.

I use this moisturizer on my face twice everyday and I love it. My daughter recommended it to me and I am so glad she did. My face feels and looks healthy and moisturized. It is a little pricey compared to other brands that I’ve tried but worth it. A little goes a long way! I will recommend this to anyone who asks! My daughter has very sensitive skin and breaks out with most creams, but this one seems to be working great for both of us.

I have very sensitive skin (dermatitis, eczema) and this moisturizer is lightweight and works very well. My skin is left soft and there is no skin irritation! I use it daily on my face and have both the one with UV protection to use during the day, and the one without UV protection to use at night or under makeup that has UV protection. Another positive is that there is no taste when it comes in contact with my lips as I use it all over my face. Highly recommend.

Good for use and it does not feel messy on the face

I have an oily type that lacks moisture. So it's always very tricky to find a right moisturizer for my skin. I was looking for it for the summer. It's been 7 years since I've used the La Roche Posay skin care line, but it's my first time using the Toleriane face moisturizer. I realized right away that I fall in loooooove it. I've been using it nearly two weeks now. It's not too heavy or light, it's moist a lot and very smooth texture. Even after applying it, my skin doesn't feel tight. Also i like the enough amount! I always feel like I'm using up 40ml too fast. So good so far overall!

I'm impressed with the texture of the oil-free moisturizer, it quickly absorbs into my skin, providing all-day moisture without any greasy residue. I've noticed a significant improvement in my skin's texture since using it.
