Does exactly as it should and designed for.
I used this to replace a POS console RUCKUS switch. With the RUCKUS internet was constantly dropping out, since installing this my internet has not dropped out, not even once. I will not ever use a switch from comscope again. Their AP’s are fantastic though.

The best VLAN switch I got so far from TP-Link, this switch handle VLAN with SSID very nicely.
The best part is TP-Link customer support Chat (Donald) from TP-Link, they are very helpful when you need any support on how to setup the switches, I my case, I needed some help with VLAN and Donald was so helpful. He tough be everything about TP-Link VLAN in few minutes.Thank you so much!

Easy set up and deployment
Setup was super simple, basically plug and play. I’m not tech illiterate, but I’m also not an IT wiz. I’m running Poe cameras out of every port and haven’t run into any bandwidth or power issues.

Web UI buggy requiring refreshes
The Web UI is buggy. I have to refresh the VLAN page multiple times before it'd load the stored/active values. On first load it always shows default values? Otherwise works fine.

network architect review
I wouldn't ever buy this again. I'm a senior level architect in the networking space, and I'm 100% fine with very basic home devices function, OS, UI and UX... but this thing is terrible. On a basic dot1q trunk carrying 4 vlans, the switch exhibited signs of packet loss and even induced latency in the switching of my traffic. This was compared against other home type switches I have in my possession. I ended up phasing this device out after a few months for a competitor product in the same size/space and haven't had issues since.

"Managed" POE switch that does not allow to set up POE
TP-Link TL-SG1210MPE is supposed to be managed PoE+ switch butit does not have the function to disable PoE on certain ports. This means that it cannot be used with devices that have voltage protection on Ethernet ports. There is no support page for the new version 3.0 of this modem. The latest firmware update version is from 2021-03-12 (for the version 2.0).The only answer to this is that "some of those switches don't have this function".

Died after 4 months - nothing from tp-link
Used continuously for less than 6 months on. Suddenly died and doesn't power on - even after reset. Unreliable and waste of money.
