Batiste Leave-In Hair Mask Repair 4.3Oz.

I was not sure what to expect with this product when I decided to order it and was intrigued mostly due to the appealing price of under $4 and I am happy to report that this first of all smells really good! I did not experience any leaking from the bottle and the bottle was securely wrapped in plastic when delivered. The quality actually exceeds what I expected considering the affordable price point. I have noticed a significant difference in my hair with being less frizz and softer. It seems to lock in moisture without looking wet or greasy. It is easy to use because all you need is a small amount in the palm of your hand after shower while your hair is still damp. I rub the product between the palms of my hands and start from the bottom of my hair where it seems to be the dryest and scrunch/rub all through the bottom and go up about half way until it’s evenly distributed. The top of your head has its own natural oils and doesn’t really need much of anything is what I’ve been told by hair stylist. I still use heat protection in addition to this if using hair dryer or hot iron but I am very happy with this product and have been using every time I wash my hair so 2-3 times a week and the bottle lasts awhile. I also got the green color which is just as pleasant. I will continue to use and buy this product as long as it remains in the same price range.

I love the way this makes my hair feel. I use a little on my dry clean hair when it’s feeling a little too wild & fluffy. I can use it everyday without any buildup issues.

A few months back I bleached my hair for the first time and have dyed it twice since then - it isn't heavily damaged, but it has been dry and I've noticed more split ends and frizz than usual. I decided that giving this Batiste mask in "Repair" would be worth a shot. I like the packaging - it reminds me of their dry shampoo, and it looks nice sitting out on my counter. The size for the price is nice too, especially since you only need a small amount for your hair. This is something I saw in the product listing but that I might have missed on the packaging - you are only supposed to use a dime-sized amount in your hair. I have medium-body hair that is collarbone length and wavy, and you can see how much product I used in my attached picture. Now, for the product itself: the scent isn't really listed - the "Repair" mask is made with pea proteins and fittingly has a light sweet pea scent. I don't find it overpowering or even noticeable once on, especially considering the small quanitity that gets used. The texture of the product is nice, although I don't like the little beads. I think it is a fun idea, but I don't like having to "activate" the product on my hands since I feel like a lot of the product stays with my skin rather than transferring to my hair. Not a huge deal, just not my preference for application. As far as performance goes, I'm satisfied with this. It works better than I expected actually. I applied this to towel-dried hair post-shower, and I let it air dry. My hair does look less frizzy and feels smoother, and it didn't leave behind any sort of residue in my hair. I can't speak to how it works on dry hair since I don't like using products like this on dry hair. For wet application though, it works just fine. Overall, I am pleasantly surprised by this mask. The lack of a clearly-stated scent on the packaging, as well as the inclusion of the beads in the formula, are both strange little quirks of this product. That being said, neither of those really impact performance, and I do like the results I got. I would recommend the "Repair" mask.
