Lightweight and effective, great buy.
Very pleased with the Terratek cordless hedge trimmer so far. Used it for the first time today and surprisingly it was already charged. So much easier and faster than cutting hedges by hand!! I am petite and this is easy and light to handle. I didn't mind the noise at all, though ear protection is recommended. It glides over bushes, soft hedges and smaller twigs and branches (says up to 15mm - 10mm no problem today) Safely stops if you release the trigger. Looking forward to using it again and wish I had bought one sooner.

Would be a good purchase if it lasted longer before breaking
Initially I was pleased with this trimmer as it worked well and did a great job; on first impressions it was a terrific product for the price... However! Less than 12 months after purchase, and on only the 3rd or 4th time of use, it refused to start and then smoke started to come out of it, accompanied by a horrible burnt plastic smell. Looking at the reviews, others have experienced the same issue. I have removed the battery and left the trimmer to cool down. So - be warned that this trimmer can be prone to malfunctioning. On the plus side - the company have been great with sorting out a replacement, under warranty. Hopefully this one will last longer, as it's great when it works. Should you encounter any issues, contact the help team - they're v responsive, friendly and fast to support.

Excellent & ideal for 78 yr old ‘go for it’ women!
Excellent product. I originally bought the longer model of this trimmer but as a woman & 5’ tall it was rather unwieldy, heavy & awkward to handle. The shorter one lets me cut the lower parts of hedges etc while someone else cuts the high up bits. Thankfully, the someone else is 6’ tall!

Not working
Hedge trimmer seemed to work well last year when I used this year the blades all working together not cutting,I had only used for a couple of hours over the year. I contacted them expecting problems but they were brilliant sending me a new hedge trimmer within 7 days . Highly recommend there back up policy and customer service.
