I don’t normally write reviews, but these 20 lb tent weights deserve a standing ovation—and maybe a Gatorade. Between soccer Saturdays, football Sundays, and track meets that somehow last all day, our canopy is our mobile HQ. Snacks, chairs, shade—if that tent flies away, so does my sanity. After losing a pop-up last spring to a surprise gust (RIP), I finally invested in these—and WOW. ✅ Wind-Tested in Texas: We’ve faced 25+ mph winds out on the fields, and not once have these weights budged. Other parents are chasing tents down the parking lot, and ours is holding like a stadium structure. ✅ Solid and Smart Design: The handles make them easy to move but they’re heavy enough to feel like gym equipment. Arrived packaged well and as described. I like that they are filled with sand and have an accessible port so I can refill or change out the filling as needed. Overall definitely recommend.

Great held tent in place when it got windy

First, anyone who thinks these will make your insta shade tent stable in any kind of wind is dreaming big. These only weigh 5lbs. Can't tell you how many times I see one of these on each leg of an insta shade tent (any brand) and a light gust comes by and blows their tent away. Maybe if you put 4-5 on each leg, it might provide some stabilization, but one, they are useless. In addition, they simply slide on, so there is nothing to secure them to the legs. So, why did I buy these? I needed something to put in our pop up trash can to keep it secure on windy days and this did the trick. It comes as a set of 4. I have one for my tailgate can during football games. I keep another in our 5th wheel for our campsite pop up trash can. And the last 2, I use those in the basement of our house to secure the bungee cord holding our "headache" bag. What is that, it's a workout bag about the size of a persons head used in martial arts for kicking and punching. For these alternative purposes, these are great. For securing your insta shade tent, get the sand bags.

Bought the US Weight 20‑Pound Canopy Weight Set (Pack of 4) because I was tired of my canopy attempting to achieve flight. Installed these, and suddenly my canopy became the most grounded object on the planet. The wind showed up confident, puffed its chest out, and immediately backed off. Gusts came through, neighbors’ things moved, leaves flew everywhere… and my canopy didn’t even blink. I swear the weights looked offended that the wind even tried. They’re easy to install, don’t pinch your fingers (thank you, no‑pinch design), and once they’re on, they mean business. Heavy, solid, and absolutely committed to staying put. No tipping, sliding, or sudden “oh no” moments. If you’re looking to keep your canopy securely on the ground and crush the wind’s dreams, these weights deliver. Highly recommend—my canopy is no longer a kite, and the wind has been emotionally humbled.

Quality is great. The reason I'm not giving a 5 star is because, (never thought of it before buying unfortunately), but once installed on each leg, you can not zip down the canopy walls to the ground because of the height of the piled weights...
