Great gift for a 6-12 year old
Expect to help the youngers a lot, but this gift was very exciting for my five and eight year old grands. Came with plenty of floss and needles, and the stamped patterns were easy to see. One of the hoops was missing a fastener; I hope to get a part from the seller as I didn't want to return the whole kit and wait for replacement.

Complete Set
This set of project is great for individual gifts. It came with all materials and was ready to use out of the box. It was hard to match the colors with the template for each pattern. Additionally it was too hard for age range noted. I would suggest this for 10 and above.

Excellent first project!
This was a great introduction to sewing for my 8-year-old granddaughter, and a wonderful experience for both of us to share. She was so proud of her work, which she finished in time to hang on her new backpack for the start of school---August 1 in Georgia! I liked the blunt-tip needles, easy and attractive patterns, and beautiful colors.Two glitches in the instructions: Step 1: 'Wear the thread [No, 'Use the thread'] according to the method in the picture.' and Step 2: To show how to do the cross stitch, the drawing does not correspond to the cloth. Better to go 'all the way right, then all the way left' instead of making individual Xs. Although this is a very good first project, it is necessary to be guided by someone who knows how to embroider.

Cross stich kit
My 10 year old granddaughter loved the designs and "extras" included with the cross stitch projects. The individual projects are small enough to be completed in a timely manner. The size of the squares is small. However, the pre-stamped colors did provide guidance. The kit provides everything needed plus more!

All loose parts, otherwise ok.
This kit is fine, but it's a bunch of loose parts. I guess I thought it'd come in a bag or container or something? I bought as a gift for my neice, and then had to separately go buy a container in order to wrap it.
