Magura 8.P disc brake pads, one size

Good quality and came on time. Plenty of stopping power for my Amflow PL Carbon Emtb.

Feels like double the stopping power over the stock one piece pad but without the squeal. The two piece pads were just as easy to install as the stock one piece pads with the help of the locking style bolts. Break in was done in just a few hard stops that would lift the rear wheel with ease. So far these pads feel like a good bang for the buck.

First, don't let your brake pads look like mine before you change them! I checked on Magura's webpage and it said the 8.P pads would work for MT5e brakes so I ordered. What I didn't expect was that the stock pads are two pads physically joined together. The 'double single' pads are 9.P for reference. The benefit of switching to 8.P pads over 9.P pads is that you can insert the 8.P pads from the top of the caliper without having to remove it from the fork! 9.P pads can only be installed from the bottom of the caliper so a full removal is needed. My eCargo bike now does stoppies. It's amazing.

So much better than the Stock MT5 pads! Will never go back. But note - these wear out much faster if you ride aggressively and require frequent checking. Its not a fault of the pads but the performance material just wears out quicker.

These are great Magura replacement pads. Wouldn't hesitate to order another set.

The 8 p. In the title threw me off and made me thing that I was getting 8 of these bad boys, but I was in fact, not. 😔

Great pads. They're organic so they don't last super long, but they fit in the MT5s and they're WAY easier to install than the 9.P pads.

I like to use four independent ones, seems to perform better. No noise , superior stopping, excellent break pads replacement.
