JDiction UV Resin, 500g Crystal Clear Hard Type for Jewelry Making

If like me you're new to resin crafts and wondering which of the hundreds of options to choose, this is it. I've used both JDiction AB Epoxy resin and just recently their UV resin, and both are so simple to use, and come out CRYSTAL clear. The AB is easy to mix with a simple 1:1 ratio, and the UV is ready to rock straight out the bottle. I've mixed the UV with JDiction liquid pigment, and their powder pigments, and both turned out amazingly with curing them for just a couple of minutes (to be sure) under my 78w UV nail lamp. Absolutely phenomenal, and this is the brand I'll be using going forward for all my resin needs.

Purchased and received one bottle of resin. Far too thick (Very high viscosity) to use in molds. Did not flow or self level. Too thick to even use for doming. I contacted Amazon customer service, even though it says this was a non returnable item. Great customer service from Amazon after I explained the issue and they refunded me. I said to the Amazon rep that I really wanted this resin due to really good reviews of this item and asked if I should take a risk and purchase another one and if the same issue, could I also return and get a refund. She suggested I give it a try and let them know if the same issue. Ordered another one and the exact same issue. I contacted JDiction customer service about the issue and a very helpful person, Sophie, replied the next day and suggested I try placing the bottle in warm water, not too hot and see if this lowers the viscosity. I explained to her I am used to fixing resins that have gotten thick by this method and it had not worked on these two bottles, plus in Melbourne we already had temperature just under 40 degrees C also for 3 days straight. So cold was not the issue and warming did not fix either. Anyway, contacted Amazon again and once again, Great customer service and understanding of the issue and they refunded. JDiction also arranged for another bottle to be sent to me Free of charge. Bottle arrived within 3 days and also seems to have come via Amazon for that fast a delivery. Same issue again. So I now have 3 x 500ml bottles of unusable resin :( I let Sophie at JDiction know and she asked me to check the serial (Batch) number under the bottle. All three (Pictures attached) were the exact same batch. So there is either a batch issue or the stock at Amazon was not stored correctly or something happened on the transport from JDiction to Amazon Australia. I have only given 1 star due to me not being able to get a 500ml working bottle of resin. Zero bottles out of Three. But 5 stars to Amazon and JDiction for their amazing customer service. So the 1 star rating is for the item, 500ml resin, itself. I cannot recommend getting current stock from Amazon Australia as you will be disappointed unless they have a different batch number than JD23L18 as per my pictures. Update: 26/03/2024. Took a risk and purchased 3 x 100ml bottles of this same resin and worked perfectly as I hoped it would. Fully Hardens with the UV Light. Out of curiosity, I checked the 3 x 500ml bottles of resin again. It's now so thick I cannot even squeeze out of the bottle using full force. It's now like a thick jelly. Something happened to this batch for sure ! So if not this "JD23L18 Batch" issue, the resin probably works perfectly fine. Strange that if any one else in Australia got one from this batch JD23L18, they are not getting this issue. Maybe it was extreme temperature in the delivery drivers vehicle ? We did have 3 days straight of close to 40 deg C that week. But having said that, I received the 3 x 500ml bottles on different dates, so that does not make sense either. Anyway, got some JDiction resin that works as expected now (100ml bottles). At a much higher price per ml though :( Update- 7/9/2024 (Sept 2024) Sophie from JDiction let me know a NEW batch of 500ml resin is now finally in stock in Australia. She sent me some bottles to test/check. I can confirm, the 500ml size is 100% good now and just as liquid as the 100ml bottles always were ! I can now change my 1 Star review to 5 Stars as their customer service has been outstanding and as they promised, they would keep on top of the issue and let me know when the new batch was available. They did and the new batch works exactly as expected. I would like to thank Sophie at JDiction in Customer Service for keeping on top of this issue and I am confident the current batch (S/N JD24G25) vs the old faulty batch(JD23L18), works as expected :) A1+++ !

I like to use this uv resin for making small jewellery items it is a nice product

Great easy to work with resin - tip I warm it up to prevent the little air bubbles

After trying a few ready to use resin this one is the best by far. Easy to work with. Works excellent acrylic materials. High recommend!
