Perfect replacement for my 2015 13" MacBook pro. These batteries don't last all day in the older Mac laptops because Intel CPU's are not as efficient, but this one will last about 6 hours of random surfing, typing, or other non intensive tasks, but if you are streaming on YouTube, Netflix, Paramount+, etc. the battery only lasts about 4 hours. For these machines, that was pretty good back in the day. Functions perfectly, and was easy to install once the old battery was removed. Instruction manual could be a little more detailed, it looks like it was translated from another language (possibly Mandarin Chinese or Japanese) but you likely won't need it if you are skilled enough to take out a MacBook battery and replace it. A huge factor for me to buy this one over the others is that there is a 1 year warranty on this battery whereas other batteries on Amazon do not have a warranty.

Removal of the old battery was the hardest part. NinjaBatt Battery was delivered quickly and instal was a breeze and fit perfectly. The original battery on my 15” MacBook Pro mid 2015 a1398 model was swollen causing the keyboard and trackpad to stop working, screen would not close completely due to the uneven matting surface, and the bottom was also affected due to the swelling causing the laptop to rock back and forth. Once I installed the NinjaBatt Battery and performed the SMC and PRAM reset, I let the battery charge for 4 hours before initial startup. Battery indicator showed 100% charge, so I let it drain down to 10% with moderate use and Netflix showing in the background. Took almost 3 hours to fully charge back up to 100%. Will continue using for the next few weeks and will update this post as necessary. Otherwise, it’s been working great. Highly recommend this product.

I have a 2015 Mac Book Pro A1398. My machine was booting to the Login screen, but after entering a password, it would start logging in and then reboot. I purchased this battery expecting to resolve this issue. The new battery arrived and was a perfect fit. I installed it without it being glued down so that I could confirm it is ok before I committed to keeping it. Unfortunately the Mac saw its initial charge as 0% and after 24 hours of charging it was still 0%. I emailed their support and they immediately shipped me a replacement for free. The replacement arrived within two days but unfortunately it had exactly the same problem. The battery was detected and shown as 0%. This meant I never got passed the red battery charging screen under normal reboots. Its truly horrible that Apple made these products that can not be used with no battery installed!!! With the 10/10 reset, I was able to boot the machine up to the login screen and start the login process, but even this did a reboot part way through logging in. At this point it's not clear if 1) I was very unlucky and got two bad batteries 2) The battery was not compatible, but with 90% 5 star reviews, I must assume this was not the case. 3) There is a laptop issue although the charging lights indicate otherwise. This has not been a pleasant experience, but I feel it's MORE APPLES FAULT than anything. I would be fine running it with no battery if it was an option! So based on this experience, the support was excellent getting me a replacement and I can not really comment on the product due to unknown causation. I also observe form other reviews that my issues were not uncommon, but I did not see any with evidence that it was a battery issue rather than a Mac issue.

I recently purchased the NinjaBatt replacement battery for my Macbook Pro, and the entire experience has been nothing short of a nightmare. I ordered this battery as a replacement for my swollen Macbook Pro battery, hoping for a seamless upgrade. However, the NinjaBatt has turned out to be a complete disappointment. Firstly, the installation process was the only positive aspect, as the battery shape exactly matched the original OEM battery, fitting well into place. Unfortunately, any glimmer of hope was swiftly crushed when I realized the battery was completely discharged upon arrival. Despite a seemingly straightforward charging process, my Macbook could only charge this battery to a mere 39% after a staggering 5 hours of charging. Even more concerning, the battery's charge dissipated at an alarming rate after unplugging the power source, far quicker than my original 9-year-old OEM battery. On the second charging cycle, the battery's performance further deteriorated, and I could only achieve a laughable 27% charge. It's abundantly clear that this battery is not only defective but also boasts a significantly smaller capacity than the original OEM battery. This experience has left me questioning the legitimacy of NinjaBatt's products. Whether it's a blatant scam or a result of abysmal quality control, I am utterly disappointed and frustrated. I strongly advise against wasting your money on this product. Save yourself the trouble and opt for a more reliable battery from a reputable source. I am beyond frustrated with this purchase, and to add insult to injury, attempting to return this defective battery is an absolute nightmare. The battery is glued to the case, making the return process an arduous and messy ordeal. Save yourself the headache and steer clear of this subpar product and its infuriating return process.

The battery is good overall. Here is the pros and cons. Pros: the full charge capacity is 60mAh higher than the other brand I bought 3 yrs ago (measured at the same time after i first installed). / gloves is provided in the box. Cons: as show in the image, the battery connector is a little off (tilt to left) from the battery port of the laptop. / alcohol is not provided to remove excessive adhesive / the instruction is not clear, it’s better to just post a video on YouTube or just insert others video link.

Der Akku tat, was er soll, er ersetzte den in meinem alten MacBook Pro Late 2013. Der Einbau war wesentlich einfacher als befürchtet oder bei den Nachfolgemodellen (dort würde ich es nicht mehr selber machen). Wichtiger Tipp beim Einbau: Erdungs-Armband (Draht zur Heizung o.ä. zur Erdung) verwenden.

Funktioniert

Excelente batería. Mi Macbook Air del 2017 que iba fatal y ya lo iba a tirar y a comprar uno nuevo volvió a la vida. Va tan rápido como el primer día. Esta batería aparte de devolverle toda su funcionalidad al ordenador, dura muchísimo. Cuesta un poco más que otras pero no me arrepiento de la compra. Llevo un mes usándola y estoy muy satisfecho. Luego la instalación ha sido muy fácil.

De momento funciona bien. El Mac la detecta como batería original. El sensor de temperatura funciona correctamente. No viene tan equipada, no trae cintas doble cara para pegar la faja del trackpad ni el regulador de carga pero si trae las herramientas necesarias y guantes.
