Sistema products are quality made - these are no exception. Used for leftovers, take in lunch, heat up in microwave - works for anything. They are definitely airtight - except when vented for heating up. Nice colors to choose from too.

What to get the relative who wants nothing at Christmas? Sistema! She started a new job and was looking to make food for several days, but only had recycled smaller containers. She is so happy with the new containers. The shapes fill the frig and don't leave a lot of dead space, seal really well and don't leak. Dishwasher safe with no residue. Now she is looking to get more. FWIW, I picked Sistema b/c it's what I use at home. The wide variety of sizes makes them ideal for leftovers and prep as well.

I discovered these by accident because a friend at work was using them to bring lunch. They're great, and I've thrown away most of my Tupperware and Rubbermaid containers and replaced them with these. Also now less in the habit of using mason jars or putting leftovers in a bowl covered with plastic wrap. The critical innovation here is that there is a seal made of a softer plastic. That allows the rest of the lid to be made of harder plastic, and allows for the addition of latches without deforming it. This leads to several practical benefits: 1) Because of the latches, the containers will not spill if inverted or handled roughly. Though they are not leakproof, at least the lids will stay on, unlike most competing square containers. 2) The tops are relatively flat and so containers of different sizes can be conveniently stacked, and can generally be moved around the kitchen and carried in a stack without six hands or two extra trips. The sizes are well chosen to make this practical. The amount of fridge space this recovers is considerable. Some things to keep in mind. 1) Like any plastic container they will stain when used to hold certain foods, particularly tomato-based chilis and soups. 2) They will sometimes leak if filled with liquid and inverted.

My husband is a paramedic and takes 2-3 meals per shift. We’ve been using some other 2 cup containers for several years, but when I went to get more, they’ve changed something and he hates them. I went to the store and bought several different containers to try to see what he liked, and these were the winner! They’re a good heavy duty plastic. The lids lock on, so he hasn’t had any leak (yet). I’ve also put spaghetti up in the fridge in one and it didn’t stain. This size holds a 6oz pork chops, a half cup of rice and a cup of broccoli without squishing anything down. The first set got washed at least three times weekly and hasn’t had any trouble going through the dishwasher or being reheated in the microwave or warping. A little pricier than ziploc or Rubbermaid, but the quality is definitely worth the extra $2-3 you spend.

$12.99 for this 18-piece set is a great price. We've been through many different brands of plastic containers and these are easily our favorite. These seal up good with just 2 locking clips. There are some other sealing containers out there that require all 4 sides to snap. We found those types to be very difficult to use and snap. These sistema ones are super easy. These are dishwasher safe and they stack nicely on top of each other in fridge or cabinet. The only thing about this 18-piece set I didn't like was that it give you 4 very tiny containers which don't have capacity to hold much of anything. However, at $12.99, it's still worth the price for the 5 other containers you get.

These are quite leaky, but they're a perfect size to hold a bar of soap for travelling. I got tired of keeping my bar of soap in a plastic bag that got kinda gross looking and needed to be replaced often. I switched to using these handy little containers instead and they've worked very well. I get enough of the water out of the container before I put the soap in, so the leakiness hasn't been a problem for me. The containers that I'm not using for bars of soap are used for food, but since the containers aren't water-tight, I only put dry foods like cookies and nuts in them.

I love these containers! They last forever. I have some I bought years and years ago. Came back for more.

We are using these for dry goods. When I tested it out it holds a bit more than 3 cups of water. Three cups of water is 24 ounces not the advertised 33 ounces. A pint is 2 cups and a quart is 4 cups in that type of measurement. When I checked for something that was 2 liters like a big bottle of Dr Pepper, even half of this as a liter would be way more than this product can hold. Limit is 3 cups or 24 ounces of water. We are storing store bought cookies and loose tea bags in these. So I purchased 2 more of the 33 ounce size and one of the 64 ounce size. The 64 ounce size looks like it will hold a full pack of Oreo's or similar cookie (6 cups of water or double the 33 ounce size). Plastic store bought cookies come in is not even recyclable, not sure why food is sold in it. No toxins is a plus.

La calidad es buena, la variedad de los tamaños es excelente, ni muy pequeños ni muy grandes y permite el uso constante para almacenar alimentos o sobras de comida. Los pequeños los uso para guardar la comida que mi hija se lleva a la escuela y son perfectos para la lonchera. Otra ventaja es que son fáciles de abrir para los niños. El único defecto que les encontré es que no son herméticos, no se puede guardar líquidos en una lonchera porque todo se va a derramar. Su desempeño en casa o en lonchera sin líquidos es excelente.

Great set of food storage containers with a good mix of sizes. They seal well and keep food fresh, and the stackable design helps save space. The clips feel secure and easy to use. Bought these a while ago and they’ve held up well with regular use.

Os recipientes são muito bons, fecham bem e aparentam boa durabilidade. A diversidade de tamanhos que vêm no kit também são ótimas.
