Incredible. Irons linen well. Super quick & easy - i've searched far & wide for a steam iron that works like this. Almost hired someone to iron my clothes but this makes it so easy I don't have to!

I love this because it’s leak proof it’s easy to use and it gets the job done. I put distilled water in it and it works like a charm. It heats up pretty fast.

Absolutely phenomenal steamer! I’ve owned 4 steamers, each of them stopped working, leaked, or just weren’t good at removing wrinkles from clothes. This however is the GOAT of steamers. Quality materials, excellent steam output, consistent, powerful and stylish. Might even buy another in case they stop making them.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Love this for tackling wrinkled clothes anything from tee shirts to jeans and formal wear. I use distilled water to keep any calcium from building up. I purchased a cheap bbq sauce dispensor for use filling the tank up since my iron has a small opening to fill its tank. So the dispensor just sits ready in the laundry room to fill either this clothes steamer or other laundry items that require water. However the tank to refill on this steamer does easily turn right out of its base to fill by bottle or faucet. I really like the soft grip finish on this steamer and overall think it’s an attractive looking steamer. It does get VERY hot if you chose that setting and the only thing I would recommend besides distilled water with it is to make sure to unplug it once you’re finished with using it. I’ve discovered that even when I switch the lever to off it maintains the heat to be started quickly back up. That might be an operator error since I did not read the instructions and I’m pretty confident that it clearly states how to use it. I just didn’t take the time to read the instructions. Since purchasing it’s been working great with tons of use and has shown to be a great laundry go-to. Highly recommend.

Do not buy. Worked well when first purchased and used. Cleaned after first used and kept in box, but after one year of no use, now will not produce steam. Followed all instructions for cleaning and troubleshooting. Still will not produce steam. Noticed that others also have given negative reviews for same issue. Does not last for long time use even with excellent care. Very expensive for such limited lifespan.

Update 2/20/2026 - Everything below is true BUT, it died after 6 months. Dead as a door nail. Amazon refunded the money. I threw it away and ordered something less expensive. So sad because it was awesome. The Chi steam iron is a gift from the gods. Hands down far better than an iron and an ironing board. Keep the garment on a hanger. I tend to use the shower rod or a door frame. It takes a few minutes, but it is so worth it. There is no risk of burning or melting your clothes. You don't iron in wrinkles. Just pass the item under the material and like MAGIC the wrinkles are gone! ALSO, I have super curly hair. Some days I use the steamer to "refresh" my curls. Turn it on and sit in on the counter, turn my head upside down and [ass my curls through the steam! Viola! Fresh, new, bouncy curls! This thing is worth every penny. I loathe ironing. This steamer makes it so easy to get rid of wrinkles. It's hand held and not very big at all. I take it when I travel so I am wrinkle free world wide!

I bought to steam some bridesmaid dresses. It did not take wrinkles out, it did a very poor job. I will return this.
