GOO GOO Hair Extension Double Sided Adhesive Replacement Tape Tabs, 72 Pcs

I’m ordering these tapes again, in a bigger package. They do stay in & hold for WEEKS! Which is what we want, right? I’ve been wearing extensions for a couple years due to health issues causing my life long bleached hair to fall out. Most applications last me 12 weeks. I wash 2/3 times a week using dry shampoo most days. I lay my top piece on first, pick it up and apply the under side with the very little strands of natural hair it picks up, sandwiched in between. I then hold my flat iron on it for a few seconds then let it cool. Every 10 days or so I retap with heat to prevent slippage. There’s the occasional slippage around the 4/5 week mark, but if you take care of them and tap the tapes with heat every couple weeks, they don’t slip too bad. Wearing extensions for a couple of years, I’ve had my fair share of problematic tapes, if you know what to do, they’re not as damaging as others. I’ve had tapes/wefts that literally ate my bleached blonde/bad health hair to nothing! These don’t do that! To the removing them! You use heat to apply them right? Use heat to remove them! Your literally smashing/melting the glue onto the few strands of hair you sandwich in between, right? What do u expect when your wanting to remove them? Of course it’s going to be a mess when u expect them to peel off like regular scotch tape does from plastic! I mean, if you want that, why waste your money? All I do after 8-12 weeks, depending on regrowth, is tap with heat then peel them apart. I immediately use a fine tooth comb and comb the glue out. Repeating heat on my natural hair until the glue is out. I use a mixture I make of olive oil and rubbing alcohol to remove residue. It’s a learning process! But leaving bad reviews because you aren’t doing it right is not cool. Your taking food off someone’s table because you aren’t informed or knowledgeable.

Save yourself the pain! I’ve been doing tape-in extensions at home for almost 3 years. The last time I did a re-install, the tape tabs and remover I usually buy weren’t going to come as quickly, so I ordered these replacement tabs and a different remover. They held well, but taking them out is awful. The tabs stick to each other better than they do the hair wefts. Upon removal, the wefts would come off, leaving full tape tabs sandwiched together in my natural hair. It was extremely painful to remove the tabs, and took 3 days and a lot of hair loss to fully remove the residue. I thought it was the fault of the remover I had used that time. I re-ordered these this past re-install, as well as the remover I had always used previously. I’m currently trying to remove once again and I’m having the same issue. The tape tabs are stuck in my hair, while the extensions are already out. Even with the remover that has always worked wonderfully for me in the past. I have since ordered the tabs I usually use for when I finally get these out and install the hair again. Steer clear of these tapes, I’m losing chunks of hair.

These bad boys hold like no other, that being said , they are extremely hard to get out! Do not recommend to beginners or those with fine hair. Be prepared to have your tape in for at least a month or 3 before removing. Buy very good removal oil as well. They’re perfect for those who are looking for the long lasting no slip tape, just be warned ya know ?

If you are reading the reviews trying to decide on whether or not you should buy these, let me save you some time! These extension tapes are AMAZING in my personal opinion, (I have been doing hair extensions for YEARS & have tried almost every brand out there). I find with alot of other replacement tapes, half of the tabs don't come off the backing sheet and end up useless and unusable, or they don't stick well, or they curl up after a few days. I had ZERO issues with these replacement tape tabs, they removed easily, they attached easily and fit perfectly on the wefts, they stuck very well, and NO curlups! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND these to ANYONE wanting a good quality tape for their extensions!
