great sounding speakers. I used an adapter ring to install on ford fusion. my old speakers were dust, literally. i've seen some complaints of the bass from these speakers, i'm not sure what they are talking about because the ones i got put out plenty of bass, too much as a matter of fact. i had to turn the bass down...i know a lot of that is personal preference but the bass was overpowering the instruments and vocals. easy hook up with wiring adapter from the adapter ring, no soldering or crimping of connections involved. i know they aren't the highest sound quality of speakers for some people but for me, and replacing the factory speakers, it was a giant upgrade. these speakers are three way so you get the added benefit of more midrange and high end sound. yes, i would recommend them for someone who is looking for an inexpensive upgrade from factory speakers while getting a great value for you money.

For the price they sound pretty decent. I exchanged these for my blown and tore original 6.5" I'm happy for how easy they mounted on my doors. Now your not gonna win any competitions with these but if you like good quality sound without spending your life's savings gives these a shot. I think you will be pleasantly surprised. Definitely better then the stock ones. Update. Just these speakers haven't even been in my car for 10 days and one speakers is blown. I have a stock older camry. There no factory or after market amplifiers in the car wasn't even loud actually tge other speaker seems fine but its a pain in the ass to take it all apart send it back then have to wait for how ever long for replacement No, these are headed fir the garbage abd I will be looking elsewhere. 60$ and some change I believe. Didn't last at all. Sounded good for the first 9 days. I dont like my music loud so that was not the problem. Problem is it failed due to a manufacturing flaw. Maybe you get lucky and yours works. Up to you. Im just telling you what happened to me. Take is as you may. Good luck. Final update. In all fairness the speaker was not blown. What happened was the wire from the coil on speaker came undone which is rare for any speaker. I soldered it re-installed it and sounds great again. My final answer is yes I would definitely purchase again and i think its the best bang for you buck. They are definitely better than any stock speaker has to offer. Surprisingly decent sound at a budget price. Used 4 of theses to replace factory door speakers and the sound is great for the price,

No distortion from what I could tell, I did have to buy some mounting brackets so the fit wasn't perfect. No issues with the cables. It was honestly a great value for some pretty good sound quality.

Avevo voglia di aumentare la resa delle casse della mia moto, e ho optato per questo modello di casse, date le recensioni positive e il prezzo non troppo elevato, anche perché non essendo marine grade, volevo spendere poco per eventualmente sostituirle. Il suono è molto buono, con una buona copertura dei suoni alti e bassi, un po' debole sulla resa dei medi, ma forse dipende anche dall'autoradio. Hanno già preso diversi acquazzoni, ma al momento non ho notato alcun problema.

Boss has a pretty bad reputation. They are generally reviewed to be bottom of the barrel in sound and build quality. So why did I rate them 5 stars? Because they replaced the rear door speakers in my old 2000 Astro Van. The cones on those were no longer attached to their frame. The resulting rattles were unbearable. I deserved better. These boss speakers were all that and then some. Oh, and forget pulling the doors apart like all the YouTube videos indicate. Just pop off the grills, drill out the rivets and use the included "Clips" to install these better than nothing beauty's! They sound just fine and the price is pretty good too.
