Holding my breath about the smell
The hide is beautiful with a luxury feel to the pelt, also a rich color. What I need help with is how to work with cowlicks, there are a lot of them.Also concerning the smell. There are so many sites that address this problem and I decided to use charcoal, all natural.

Great pelt
I was surprised about the negative reviews. This is a small red deer skin and very nice. For comparison I took a picture beside a goat pelt. It looks great in front of my fireplace.

Doesnt look like the picture and it's about the size of a goat. Not a deer. Little disappointed.

Great quality.
Very pleased with size and everything. Minimal shedding, they’re soft and feel expensive. My cat barfed on one right away and I was able to use my Shark mess master and it looks perfect. When you take them out of the bag, step on em for a bit and the edges will flatten out.
