Q: Can I permanently mount it to my roof?

I think the magnets remove and give you holes that you can permanently mount but that's the reason that I went with this one I've tried three before this these magnets don't go repeating this allegedly have been up to 110 mph lol... In my mind there's no need for permanent mount as long as you get the one with seven magnets per foot which is what this one offers

Q: Does this light cause any radio interference?

Yes, it does cause HF radio interference, but not UHF or VHF

Q: Can the cord be closed behind the door without being damaged

Yes. I have it ran through my back door. Ram 2500. No issues
