Kinky Curly Come Clean Natural Moisturizing Shampoo Sulfate Free 8 oz

Holy crap!!!! Why did I wait so long to try this stuff?!?! Wow, wow, wow, wow!!! I have long hair, about 4 inches above my tail bone, light blonde in color, LOW POROSITY, 2B curl pattern and my town has horrendous hard water. It leaves a film on everything it touches, mainly calcium deposits and after a short time if you don't scrub the area it touched it turns to a rust color. Anyways, if you have hair like mine and have bad city water, holy crap, DO NOT HESITATE TO GET THIS!!! I'm not exaggerating when I say, after ONE Wash my hair looked like I went and got it bleached again. Not hard-core in your face bleached, but a high quality but also GENTLE and HEALTHY bleach. It was SO INCREDIBLY SMOOTH AND SOFT AND DOWN RIGHT SILKY FEELING. It wasn't weighed down in the slightest but also not dry on the ends. I should note I did buy the conditioner at an actual store (they were out of the shampoo) I wanted to try both and i waited until I got my shampoo to wash my hair, so i could use both at once. Holy crap. I'm really kinda dumb founded why I haven't tried this stuff earlier. I can say with 100% certainty, this, along with the kinky curly knot today leave in detangler is my new HOLY GRAIL SHAMPOO AND CONDITIONER. I used to be in love with the Shea Moisture Low porosity shampoo and leave in detangler, but they stopped making it a few years ago. Man, when I learned that I about cried, and no, I'm not exaggerating on that either. I'm 42 years old and it's been an on going battle with my hair. Either it's a frizz ball or it's greasy weighed down roots or its falling out or breaking off horribly, etc. My hair is naturally dark blonde but I do dye it a very light neutral blonde color. Over the years it will get dull looking and stupid me, I would just go bleach it again. I was putting bleach over bleached hair for decades. Gee, I wonder why my hair breaks off at the ends so much lol. Welp, now I've solved my problems. Low porosity and hard water = nightmare hair days. GET CHEALTED SHAMPOO LIKE THIS ONE AND YOU WILL BE SINGING LIKE A BIRD WHEN THE SUN RISES ON A GLORIOUS SPRING DAY!

This is my favorite line of products for my hair at the moment. I have wavy/curly caucasian hair and love that these products tame my frizz and hold my curls. I have experimented with how to wash my hair using these, and have a good routine now. First, I use the shampoo (a little goes a long way), then the knot today conditioner (also do a little bit at a time until there are no knots) and splash my hair with cold water (some of the conditioner stays in since I don't rinse completely). I then add a tiny bit of the custard gel to the ends and length while my hair is wet. I part and brush my hair a bit to style while still very wet, then flip it front and back so that my hair wont be flat from the brushing (more volume basically). If I need to style my hair between washes while not using shampoo, I wet my hair, maybe use a bit of the conditioner to detangle, and use the spiral spritz instead of the gel. It leaves my hair with beachy waves (no curls usually, but still unique and beautiful and soft). Even just using the shampoo leaves my hair very soft (frizzy without the other products, though).

Finally, a shampoo for me and my very thin, low-density curly hair! For clarity's sake, by thin and low-density I mean not many hair "follicles per inch" on my head, my hair strands themselves are thin, and my hair is not very voluminous at the scalp. If your hair is like mine, then you know too many products = a bad time, but then curly hair tips always suggest to use more products as well as silicone-free products! Basically, I have to find the perfect balance between the two and I believe I found a permanent placement for my shampoo with Kinky Curly Shampoo! Prior to this shampoo, I was using Deva Curl Low-Poo. My hair could not last more than a day and I had to wash my hair the next day with my old shampoo that wasn't meant for curls. If I washed my hair for more than 2 days with the same low-poo, it would look like I haven't washed my hair in 2 weeks or something. It would be greasy and itchy and just ugh! Finally, I used it all so I could move on. Cowashing is not meant for thin, low-density hair--at least for mine. I knew I needed a shampoo product WITH silicones but also meant for curly hair. I'm very happy that Kinky Curly did not advertise as "silicone-free". My hair feels nice and clean after washing, my curls are soft and shiny, and most importantly, my hair lasts 3 days before needing to wash it again! I follow it up in the shower with Deva Curl Conditioner then plop my hair out of the shower for 20 minutes or so. It might be too stripping if your hair is thick, but its great for thin hair types. Would definitely buy again

Mestiza Muse turned me onto this. It is a fantastic chelating shampoo that removes hard water build up, minerals, chlorine, salt, product build up and all kind of other gunk. It's more than a clarifying shampoo! I love the citrusy scent. It's the phytic acid that does the heavy lifting. Of the chelating agents, it is a natural one that is gentler. I go to aqua classes at the gym, and this works great. The conditioner is also fantastic.

Makes my hair super clean, can be a little drying because it is a clarifying shampoo so don’t use it too often. Love the natural citrusy scent. It resets my curls when needed.

I really like this product. It’s a great price. It’s not something that’s super cheap, but it won’t break the bank either. It has very minimal and natural ingredients. I tried this shampoo to help with product buildup. It left my hair, feeling clean and not over dry . I’ve read that this is able to be used regularly. I use it about once a week with the conditioner and styling product. Will buy again!

Ho comprato questo shampoo consigliatomi per togliere vari residui dello styling nei capelli. Fá il suo dovere, ha un profumo leggero e non troppo artificiale. Lo uso ogni 2 o 3 lavaggi per togliere il build up. Dopo i miei capelli sono morbidi e veramente puliti e quindi ricettivi per una cura nutriente.

Clarifying Shampoo, kein Tiefenreinigungs-Shampoo, für die Curly Girl Methode, also ohne austrocknenden SLS und dennoch gut reinigend um alle beschwerenden Rückstände im Haar, Stylingschaum, Gel etc., zu entfernen. Gleichzeitig ist es pflegend und spendet Feuchtigkeit, schäumt nur leicht und duftet dezent. Ausserdem ist es sehr sparsam in der Anwendung. Wer trockene Haare/Kopfhaut hat, sollte anschliessend vielleicht eine Kur auftragen. Ich habe es schon mehrfach nachgekauft und finde es ist das beste Clarifying Shampoo auf dem Markt. Interessant auch für Menschen mit empfindlicher Kopfhaut. Klare Kaufempfehlung. Allerdings ist es möglicherweise anderswo günstiger zu bekommen als hier, der Preis erscheint mir viel zu hoch.

I've bought this product a few times now. I recommend this to remove product and hard water build up from hair. It's a gentle product and smells so good and the price is decent, glad I can find this on Amazon. Highly recommend.
