While doctors seem to know very little about natural, non-prescription supplements, there is a lot of information available for those who seek it.This particular product stands out for both quality AND potency. There are cheaper products, but they give you fewer milligrams per capsule ( remember to check the serving size to see if the quoted dose is based on one pill or two ), so they are not as great a deal as they initially seem.

When I was a teenager I kept getting bronchitis over and over again and a friend of the family recommended grapeseed extract. Once I started taking it, I never got bronchitis again! Eventually I stopped taking it, just taking too many other supplements, but recently after feeling like my immune system needed a boost, I started taking this brand. This really helps keep me from getting sick or getting an infection! I've been taking this and also the olive leaf from this brand. Earlier this week my husband started getting sick, body aches, fatigue, headache, congestion... I started having him take one of these and one of the olive leaf a day and now he's doing so much better!

Not certain why I was so amped up on taking these to begin with. I've heard so many conflicting reports on the efficacy of grape seed extracts - especially their claims about anti-carcinogenic properties with out any real discussion about what sorts of carcinogens they combat. To be fair and just: This product did NOT harm me. Correspondingly, I'm not certain that it had any therapeutic benefit either.
