Vegan Ssamjang Korean Soybean Dipping Paste 250g Barbecue Sauce, brown

I love all things Korean but my local and not so local Asian food stores didn’t stock Ssamjang. Thankfully, Amazon did. And at a good price. Its got a rich dark colour and you can smell the goodness! For me, Ssamjang has a wonderful umami flavour, spicy and sweet but also earthy and dare i say nutty?! I love it with Jeon( Korean pancakes) any type or meat, enhances noodles, and I sometimes add a bit to ramen noodles for a boost. My tip is, its not like ketchup! Less is more! Individual tastes will use it accordingly. A wonderful Korean store cupboard essential for me. Along with kimchi of course. Love it.

All I can taste is salt not for me

I usually get Ssamjang from Korean groceries, but this time I tried ordering on Amazon which is handy with the prime fast delivery. Ssamjang goes well with barbeques or roasted meat, especially pork and beef. I usually make Korean wraps with lettuce, pork shoulder, and Ssamjang.

We can't get enough of this at home. Beautiful flavour, salty, sweet and savoury. I wouldn't say it was BBQ flavoured but it's amazing either way

My family loves Ssamjang. So, i had to order it online. I always use soy sauce from Sempio. That is the same company that produces this vegan Ssamjang. There was no reason to hesitate to purchase it because i always use products from Sempio. This sauce is good with grilled pork, beef, grilled garlic, onion and even cucumber. The sauce is savoury and a little sweet. It is not spicy so, my british family likes the Ssamjang as well. I need Ssamjang for BBQ. And the size of the Ssamjang is so compact. So, i could take it to a BBQ party. My colleages liked it alot. Now I find it to be an essential part of my families diet.

If you are Asian and a vegan .For vegan cant have milk ,Garlic, eggs or soy sauce .This have Garlic no pass the Asian standard for vegan..Most products have eggs ,milk products and eggs so Asian don't class this vegan

Lo compre porque no estaba la salsa coreana que suelo comprar y he de decir que está buenísima, la probé la primera vez con unos no Noodels y estaban buenísimos, con carne súper buena salsa para acompañar, arroz… Muy buena, la volveré a comprar.

Excellent. C'est du SsamJang, un mélange de guchajang et doenjang (pâte de piment et pâte de soja fermenté). La meilleure sauce qu'on utilise comme condimemt pour la viande grillé qu'on envelope dans une feuille de salade. Bon appetit 😊
