Amazon Basics vs. Depends — Guess Who Wins?
I picked up the Amazon Basics Maximum Absorbency Incontinence Underwear for Men, and honestly, they surprised me. A two‑pack for $23.38 comes out to about $0.65 each, which already beats Depends at $55.80 for a pack that’s about $1.00 each. And here’s the thing — there’s no real difference between them. Not in comfort. Not in absorbency. Not in leak protection. Not in odor control. Just the price. Incontinence products are priced all over the map, but these Amazon Basics ones really do rock. I’ve bought other Amazon Basics items over the years, and so far, they’ve all been solid. This one just adds to the list. Great product. Great price. Easy win.

Absorbent underwear
I’m 86 with BPH and for the first time need absorbent underwear. These work beyond my wildest hopes. You can get a decent nights sleep confident that there will be no leaks! Their design is so superb that you can only tell they were used by weight. Amazing product that is also amazingly inexpensive.

not equivalent to RealFit
These were advertised next to Depends RealFit, which suddenly went up a lot in price so I figured why not. Well, they are absorbent, but the fit is very strange, cut high on the sides but hang low where the padding is, and the waistband doesn't fit anywhere normal, so I feel these would be prone to leakage at night, which is when I use them. Out of 56 in the package, I now now 54 that I won't use unless I have to, so I ordered RealFit at the much higher price because I know they work well for me. They're not a bad product, but placing them side by side with RealFit is misleading, intentionally or not, so I'm out $40 and am not a happy consumer. Edit: well, they are pretty leak resistant after all so I'm bumping my review up from 3 to 4 stars. They do feel weird-fittng, and it's hard to tell front from back but it doesn't really matter. They do the job and are much less expensive than RealFit, so I'll order them again.

Affordable, Surprisingly Reliable Protection for Everyday Confidence
Affordable, Surprisingly Reliable Protection for Everyday Confidence As an Amazon Vine Voice reviewer, I’ve had the chance to try a range of everyday essentials, and these Amazon Basics Maximum Absorbency Incontinence Underwear for Men honestly surprised me—in a good way. First, let’s talk value. At around fifty-five cents per brief, this is significantly less expensive than many name-brand options. For something that can easily become a daily-use product, that price difference adds up quickly. If you’re buying for yourself or caring for a loved one, the savings alone make this worth considering. In terms of comfort, these feel more like regular pull-up underwear than a medical product. The cotton-enhanced topsheet is soft against the skin, and they’re not overly stiff or plasticky. The waistband has good stretch without digging in, and once on, they stay in place well during normal daily activity. They’re discreet under jeans or slacks, which matters more than people often admit. Absorbency is solid for light to moderate incontinence. For daytime use, they handled normal bladder leaks without any issues. The Dri-Fit technology does a good job keeping moisture away from the skin, and odor control is adequate for routine use. For heavy overnight voids, though, I’d consider either sizing up for better coverage or adding a guard pad for extra peace of mind. These are labeled “maximum absorbency,” but I would still categorize them as best for moderate needs rather than extreme overnight situations. Fit is important with this product. I strongly recommend measuring both waist and hips and using the larger measurement, as the sizing can feel snug for some. If you’re between sizes, going up may provide a more comfortable fit and better leg seal. Poor fit is usually what leads to leakage—not necessarily the absorbency itself. Things to keep in mind: – They are disposable, so plan accordingly for ongoing cost and waste. – If clothing is tucked into the waistband, it can wick moisture and cause external dampness (a user habit issue, not a product defect). – For very heavy nighttime use, a higher-capacity overnight-specific brief may be a better choice. Overall, these provide dependable everyday protection at a very reasonable price. They’re comfortable, discreet, and budget-friendly, which is exactly what many people need in this category. Bottom line: If you want affordable, comfortable incontinence underwear for daily light-to-moderate protection, this Amazon Basics option delivers solid performance without the premium-brand price tag.

Adequate, but not the best.
These are okay, but not as good as Depends brand in my opinion. They sag when full and therefore leak. They don't seem to have as much capacity as Depends Max and don't have much odor control either (I can smell urine when in use). Apart from the poor odor control, I'm sure these will work fine for someone with light to moderate incontinence, but having just undergone a radical prostatectomy, I have almost no control over my bladder at the moment, and these, although maybe okay for 2-3 hours max, aren't the best. Comfort is fine and not bulky and I like the white color. ' Didn't have any problems with fit, although they're not as snug as Depends.

These are PERFECT.😀
I don’t have incontinence. I ride a trike north and south of the SanDiego River and they Don’t have any bathrooms. Our daughter told us that the Police can give me a ticket for indecent exposure if I go in the bushes even though they don’t have any bathrooms out there. I found these Amazons on line and they work really well. They hold plenty of urine and these diapers keep me Dry and it even smells good down there. They’re a lot less money than the ones I used to buy. I’ve tried these diapers several times and they work really well. They are PERFECT. Diapers? Underwear? What do you call these things anyway? You put them on like underwear???

Don't Do It, Dudes
I tried these because I could get them here more quickly and because I could buy a pack half the size. It was a highly educational experience. First, they don't fit nearly as well as Depends. In fact, I suspect that they just took some diaper material, gave it to someone and told them, "design an adult-sized garment with this material," and that was that. They're a glaring, hideous white colour so if you were hoping for discretion you can can that idea. They're also incredibly bulky, easily two or two and a half times as bulky as Depends. So if you were hoping for discretion on *that* count, you can forget that too. All in all, they're enormously bulky, uncomfortable, and glaring white. The only thing they have to recommend them is the price points at higher quantities: but I still consider it well worth the extra twelve cents per pair to go with the brand name version here. My earnest recommendation to you is to go with these only if you have no other option, for whatever reason. NO other option. Three stars because they do possess basic functionality: they do what they claim, though they're not the best at it.
