Bought this to use with Mould King QJ loco. Joystick controls work fine but the joystick extensions shown in the picture for the controller were not included. Also note that the buttons on the top of the controller are purely cosmetic and non-functional. The motor rotation for each of the 4 channels can be changed using the small switches on the controller. Cable and battery perfect. No instructions provided but all fairly obvious. To connect the controller to the battery, press the on/off button on the battery and switch the controller on. They should connect instantly. The controller and battery can be charged using a USB charger (not supplied) and the USB cable provided. I have found from past experience that these batteries/receivers can easily be damaged by over-charging. Mould King recommend a charger having a power output of no more than 1 amp. Once charged, the charger should be disconnected. It is also important not to overload or short out the battery outputs. Would have scored 5 stars had missing parts and instructions been provided.

Grandson built over a few days, one part missing but we did okay. Once built, it is fragile, but secure enough. It does operate but snapped together - it is not meant to be a high precision engine - parts fly off, connections separate. It is a toy that operates.

I was impressed by the detail and quality of the parts and the assembly instructions. I would not say it was super easy to assemble and I had to take my time but was fun to build. If any 8 year old can build this kit by themselves, they need to be working at NASA today. If your vison is less than perfect like mine do yourself a favor and download the PDF so you can zoom in on the steps on your laptop. Can be hard to see in the manual. The PDF also has a link to download the mobile app for the model. I did some early testing with the electric motor to make sure the crankshafts were all working correctly. It was fun to watch the crankshafts turn and the pistons go up and down. It was a bit of a shame the crankshaft and cams were mostly covered by other parts and as another reviewer mentioned the cylinder heads are opaque instead of clear. Would have been nice to be able to see the pistons going up and down and other internals more clearly. I consider the purchase well worth the money.

Tut was es soll, schade ist bei der Fernbedindung, dass diese dauerhaft in Position gehalten werden muss. ALLERDINGS lässt sich dies problemlos mit der Mouldking App lösen, Bluetooth sei dank. Somit gut geeignet für den Eisenbahner und co :)

The product is great to do something different, fun and challenging as it gets a little tricky I worked on it in the afternoons after work and took my around 5 hours in total Very recommended, don’t expect a huge product is small but the quality is great
