If you’re looking for an inexpensive and non-permanent way to add privacy or hide clutter behind glass, this window film is a game-changer. (Added bonus- it doesn’t fully block out the sunlight, so my plants are still happy!) I just ordered another roll this week to use on the glass doors of my antique china cabinet, which we now use more for storage than display. I was so happy to find that the quality hasn’t changed one bit — it’s just as reliable and easy to work with as it was five years ago. My husband put this in my bathroom that faces the street/front door of our house for added privacy. It seemed easy for him to install and he put it in multiple locations. It looks really nice (inside and out) and I like that I can still peak through to see who is at the door. :p Fits nicely with my mid-mod bathroom that's white and turquoise. Very nice.

Exactly what I needed but will it last? There is no adhesive on the film. Which may not last. Overall, the door took about 2 hours and basic installation skill. The vinyl was very forgiving when cutting and fitting. The look and privacy is definitely 5 star.

If you want to have some privacy, but are too cheap for blinds these are great. I love that I can put them in my window and have natural light without my neighbors peeking into my house. They are easy to install and look really nice in the window. They also won’t leave any residue on your windows since it is just water. They hold up really well. I’ve had one of the films on for almost a year and there is no sign of it falling down and bubbling. My only complaint is the if your windows are not the exact length of the film then you have to piece 2 together and I haven’t been able to match up the design so you can see the line where the two pieces meet no matter how hard you try it seems. Love them though and would definitely buy them again.

I love that delivery drivers won't see me and my whole kitchen. I like to always open my blinds to bring light in but I don't like people to see the inside of my home. This privacy film frosted glass window film is better than the one way film because even at night, you can't see from outside. Great quality textured film. This the only brand that carries many sizes. Happy that they have the perfect size and design for me. I followed the advice on one of the reviews. Make sure to clean your windows first ( free of dust and other hard kitchen food splatters, specially on the edges or it won't stick and will have that little bubble that you can't get rid of ). Use a spray bottle with water and a few drops of dish soap. The sticker is your guide where that plastic separates from the film. Save the sticker guide for the next window film placement to separate the plastic and the film. You'll know which side goes on the window by the static cling to the glass. Measure and leave about half an inch on the bottom or top. Spray the window glass generously. Place your measured film, pull the plastic down section by section while your other hand is placed on the top. or have someone hold the top while you slowly peel the plastic all the way. if you don't have a squeegee, you can use a credit card placing it inside thin microfiber cloth and gently start on the middle part from top to bottom. Then remove the bubble scraping it outward , from top - gently toward the right finish it and then do the left side. then cut the excess film on the edge of the window with a blade (box cutter). instructions are easy and rolled inside the film. I like the clear color, light still bright inside the room. Highly recommend this brand, not only for easy installation but quality and design of this window film if you want privacy from delivery drivers, mail man or nosy neighbors.

I love this so much. I’ve gotten 4 different types of film from this brand and they’ve all been great. This style in particular I got the clear(?) for the windows by our front door and the black for the bottom window in my kid’s bathroom. They both stay on their windows perfectly so far and were pretty straightforward to put on. We took our time and measured and cut carefully. The black one has some gaps because it was the first one I did and I had to add an extra strip to one side (measure twice before ordering haha) but it still looks pretty good. The ones on the front door provide more privacy than I was expecting. Even right up against them, you can only see so much into the house. I’m very happy with them. I added a variety of images to show how they look in different lights!

I received this order super fast, and had it applied super fast! I absolutely love it, and the difference it made in our bathrooms. We bought an older home with lots of windows but I was always uneasy about the bathroom windows. We tinted them so during the day it was difficult to see in, but that's hard to believe, especially for guests. At night, my husband and I had a blind adjustment war with me shutting them tight, and him opening a bit to see out. EVERY single time we were in the bathroom, those blinds were changed. It was a war of wills that we can now both win. This cling film is easy to apply. You will need : an empty spray bottle dish soap[ a credit card an exacto knife some thin cotton rags Just measure your glass and cut about an extra inch on the height and width of each piece of the film you will need. I used the left factory straight edge on each piece of film against the left edge of the window which was an easy way to keep the design level. In the empty spray bottle I mixed 5 drops of dish soap, and a half bottle of warmish water, just enough soap to allow the film to slide around on the window until I got it where I wanted it. I cleaned each window well, as well as the window sills, and sides. Try to eliminate any little specs of dirt that will get sucked up under the film if its there. There is a thin layer of backing plastic that needs to be peeled away from the actual film, exposing the clingy side of the film. To get this started, use two pieces of scotch tape with the ends folded in onto itself, and place them on both sides of one top corner, sticking them together. Get someone to help you by pulling on the backing side of tape and pulling the backing evenly down. It's very static, so it helps to spray the back of the cling as you are removing the backing. Then have your helper go and spray your clean window from top to bottom so its good and wet. Place the straight edge of your material against the left side of your window, leaving about a half inch of material on top and bottom, and the right side. Using a credit card wrapped in a soft cloth, start in the middle and push air and water to the edges, using a cross pattern at first. Gently squeeze out most of the water, making sure that the material still overlaps the window on the top, bottom and right side, and that your straight left edge is still very near the edge of the glass. Then use your credit card and push it into the upper left corner, and use your sharp exacto knife to cut along under it, as you slide it to the right side. Once close to the right side, stop and position the credit card into the upper right corner and pull while cutting under it towards the left until your cut edges meet. Use the same technique down the right side and along the bottom. Use the credit card wrapped in a rag again to squeegee out any remaining water. Voila! Beautiful and easy! I'll try and edit my review to add photos from my phone, and I think it looks great!

I read reviews about this and how it falls off. Lets be clear, this will not fall off unless you apply it wrong. Research how to apply this and take your time. spend the time to figure out how to take the backing off and be liberal with the water spray to help glide the film into place. I bought this for a nursery, My aluminum blinds are still up, but they are wide open and you can't see in. I did not want to have to open and close my blinds for privacy and light. So now, blinds are open and half way pulled up, light comes in and we have privacy still. One roll did one bedroom window. This requires some time and patience and you can't just quickly throw this on in 15 mins. I used a large squeegee, a credit card edge for smaller areas, water in a spay bottle, multiple passes of rubbing it into place and lots of pressure back and forth working out the large air bubbles. You will never get them all out, especially since the design has a face up texture. Which means the side you apply pressure to with a squeegee or credit card is slightly rough. Pros: cheap, great for privacy, lets in diffused light, I can see how I can peel these off when I move, requires medium skill level to apply. Good for the value. Cons: you will always have little air bubbles trapped. However, the only time the air bubble are visible is at night when no light is coming through the window and the bedroom light is on. This reveals all the air pockets or air bubbles. But in the day, the sunlight coming though hides all the air bubbles. For the price, I will live with it. If you are super picky, spend more money and pay someone to do it with real professional quality film. If "pretty good" fits your budget, this is perfect.

Provides decent frosting / privacy. We mainly ordered it to lessen the impact of the sunshine when the sun hits this side of the house and it has definitely lessened the impact and helped reduce the heat. It was easy enough to cut to size and put up on the window.

CONCLUSIONI & CONSIGLI  Ottima soluzione per chi vuole crearsi un po’ di privacy ma allo stesso tempo ha la necessità di far entrare più luce possibile.  Il prodotto si stende facilmente anche se bisogna prestare un po’ d’attenzione e seguire le indicazioni riportate.  Molto importante l’utilizzo dello spruzzino e di una spatola, che può essere quella per raschiare il ghiaccio o semplicemente la tessera del supermercato.  Consigliato sicuramente anche perché la fantasia riportata secondo me è la più bella in commercio in questo momento.

Es un producto que si no lo tienes a lo mejor no lo necesitas, pero una vez que lo pones y vez los beneficios que te otorga, sin duda ya no puedes prescindir de el. Principalmente lo compre por privacidad para mi casa, pero otro de los beneficios que trajo es que tiene protección UV por lo que al ponerlo la sensación térmica baja un par de grados y ayuda a que el cuarto sea mas fresco. Sobre todo en ventanales donde les da la luz directa del sol en la tarde. Entonces Lo recomiendo ampliamente, el precio no es el mas barato pero si encuentras una oferta no dudes en comprarlo. Ayuda mucho.

Put this up on the sliding doors to my balcony so I can have a bit of privacy and some natural light at the same time. They are working excellently for this purpose. They were easier than I expected to install, and about a week in show no sign of peeling or falling off. The instructions do say to use a squeegee to push any water & air bubbles out but I don't own one so just used a mixture of the side of an old binder to get the biggest ones out and the back of my fingers for the smaller ones. Worked well, but I'd advise against using your fingers for it like that as the texture did abrade the skin pretty bad in a way I didn't notice until after I was done and saw a nasty blister forming hah! Similarly the instructions suggest using a utility knife to cut the trim. I used a regular old pocket knife and it did the job alright but I definitely could have gotten straighter and more attractive lines with a more appropriate knife. They advertise blocking most UVA and UVB light. I can't test that, but ultimately it shouldn't matter as regular window glass blocks basically all UVB and UVC light, and a substantial proportion of UVA light, if your windows are double pane there would be so little UVA getting through as to be harmless unless you are staring at the sun through it, or else wise in front of it nearly 100% of your time. What I'm getting at is if your reason for buying it is to reduce UV exposure I would suggest doing more research before hitting that buy button. But spurious advertising claims aside, I am 100% happy with this. I didn't do a great job of measuring or cutting so my photo of it doesn't look spectacular but that's my fault not the product's. It does everything I need it to — gives me some privacy before I've gotten dressed while also letting in some light and was easier to install than I had suspected, and it looks good despite my clumsy installation, and would look great if installed by somebody better at that sort of thing. A win-win all around. I WILL remember to come back and amend this if it starts to fall off of its own accord. This is written in Feb '23. So if you read this years from then with no additions it's still holding firm.

The design is simple and it was very easy to install. I have recommended to friends. I love that it is affordable so I can change it up over time when I feel like it. I love the privacy, and I am sure my neighbors do as well. :) Just a little update. It has been nearly 2 years that we have had this up, and there has been zero peeling. It is a great product!
