Can you mix it with water?

I have never mixed it with water. I always mix it into her wet food though. Since my pug has been on it she has not had a urinary tract infection. She was getting an infection every 2 months before that. This med works great!

How many scoops are in one container?

More than I can count. The scoop is very small. Maybe an 8th of a teaspoon. I only give my dog half because he's 11 lbs. This is the best I have found. The other's were a dog chew, however it only helped a little. I recommend this product.

Was there a freshness seal when you purchased this? Mine did not have one, and i'm wondering if it was tampered with.

I've ordered recently for the 1st time and mines had a seal on the container.

Will this work as a preventative for urinary crystals in cats?

I am not sure about cats. Typically I use it to prevent UTI
