CANSON XL Watercolour 300gsm A5 Paper CP 20 White Sheets

I have purchased this a couple times and it holds up perfectly fine. I use it mostly for practicing what I plan to paint (I prefer painting on block paper) for the price this is a great watercolor pad

This has become my favorite size & brand of watercolor paper, I reordered several times! It has a nice thickness, no bleed through, absorbency is what you want in a good quality watercolor paper. I've recently started doing more wet-on-wet method painting, & this works great for that! (Be sure to tape down your edges still.) Definitely worth the money for this one, I've tried others & can't find anything that compares.

I'm really impressed with this paper. It handles multiple washes and layers of paint without warping or tearing, and the colors sit beautifully on the surface. The texture is just right—not too rough, not too smooth. It's a great balance of quality and value for my watercolor practice.

Good enough to quality!

Paper quality matters. I’m working on my control of how much water I use when painting as a beginner, and this paper has given me much needed grace by being durable. There’s minimal curling and 140lbs is the perfect weight for not only beginners but I assume experienced folks as well. I did a 30 day challenge and kept the work in sequence my having it bound and perforated. I will be ordering again in multiple sizes!

A5, so they’re smaller, but perfect for my outdoor painting projects. I just set this up on a board and paint in the location.

My son can draw; he has amazing talent. I'm not saying this just because I am his mom, but he has skills and only prefers this paper. So, I recommend this paper for all those who draw.

I love this paper, which doesn't absorb too much water from the paint. Results in a very controllable process.

This is a good celluloses paper to use for watercolor. If you want to do very simple illustrations with few layers and not to much water. (Otherwise you would need cotton paper , branded cotton paper even. To do multiple layers, wet on wet and glazing with ease, and without having to be vigilant about damaging the paper) This paper cannot take a beating but it can take enough if you have a light hand and respect it’s more sensible nature.
