Nice phone works well. But have to be careful deleting messages or you will delete ones that you don’t want to delete. Goes from one to the next very quickly.

Have had this VG208-5 for a month now, and so far it as been great. I did a lot of "research" checking all other phones cordless and corded options, including at specific phone stores for businesses, before I purchased this system. I am completely satisfied with this system, especially for the price this system is very good value. Overall it is easy to setup and use, and sound quality is very good for a phone. The cordless feature is DECT 6 so it operates on the 1.9GHz frequency range (1.921536–1.928448 GHz), and that provides for less interference from other devices including Bluetooth & Wi-Fi. I notice the difference with the voice quality; as I move away from the base the sound stays good, much better than my previous cordless phone that was not DECT and would even drop calls. Another main reason I bought this phone instead of others is that the cordless handsets have great security due to the the encryption and frequency hopping used that keeps others from being able to easily intercept and listen to your calls. Don't purchase any phone without that kind of security. I also have this phone set to not accept any call where the caller has blocked display of their phone number, and I can say that features works GREAT! Well I had some tell me it worked, including a business that didn't know they block display of their number. Other features: The answering machine works fine, easy to use, no issues with it. Same with the intercom feature, it works fine too. If you have a family and have multiple rooms the intercom feature is great. If you never had an intercom before once you get a phone system with the intercom feature you will always want the intercom feature. One point about the intercom - the handsets are pre-programmed with the handset IDs 1-5 (i.e. Handset 1, Handset 2...Handset 5) and cannot be changed. So when you setup the system you have to install the battery in each handset and check the display for the handset you want. For example, if you want Handset 1 to be the main room handset, you will have to find the handset that is already set as "Handset 1" because those IDs cannot be changed. One other point. Each cordless handset keeps the list of the calls, so even if you delete a call on one cordless handset that call stays on all the other cordless handsets until deleted on the other specific handsets. That is probably the best way for most, though it depends on your particular setup and preference. This feature works okay as is, though I would like the option that when a call is deleted on the corded base that the call then gets automatically deleted on all the connected cordless handsets, but if deleted on any cordless handset the call stays on all the other cordless handset and the corded base. So far I have nothing to say about this phone system that would be a reason not to buy it, especially given all the good points of this phone system. I will update my review if that changes in the months ahead.

I bought this for my home, mainly for my kids who don’t have phones but still want to talk to their friends—and to give my phone a break. It works perfectly! I can block calls, it’s simple enough for my 6-year-old to use, and the sound quality is great. The only downside is that there’s no “+” sign on the phone, so when calling internationally, you have to remember to dial 011 before the number. The screen is bright enough and the buttons are good even for a child to use

This is a very good landline phone, which is exactly what I wanted. I don't use the cordless phone that comes with it at all and haven't set it up, nor will I be doing so. The instructions for installation are rather sketchy, but my son figured everything out fairly quickly. The audio quality is very good and I like everything about it now that I'm accustomed to using it. I had wanted a white phone but am very happy with the black and silver color of the VTech VG208. It's a nice compact size with a satisfying weight. It has call blocking and all the features I wanted. I like its ring tone and its default voicemail message. I'm very happy with this phone and certainly recommend it to anyone looking for a good landline phone.

Exelente calidad un audio alto tiene muchas opciones

Bought this for my mother-in-law on January 10,2026. We haven’t been able to get a hold of her till today. The number 4 & 5 don’t work & hand held won’t connect. Since we are 7 days passed the 30 day return policy my mother in laws is stuck without a working phone.

it worked but wont receive any answering machine calls .:(

I purchased this for some elderly friends who were getting unwanted calls all day long. Does a good job of showing incoming calls and has helped them be less frustrated. Cordless handset also has caller id. Lots of features but still pretty simple to use and set up.

Me gustó, ya use la agenda guardando varios numeros, el identificador funciona, lo que no he podido cambiar es el numero de timbres antes de que entre la contestadora, porque con 3 timbres no alcanzo a contestar. Es muy buen producto. Ya tiene 6 meses instalado.

El producto tuvo un poco de retraso en la entrega por ser envío internacional, pero nada importante. Llegó en buenas condiciones y funciona bastante bien. Muy fácil de programar. Visualmente cumple con las espectativas.

He usado el equipo por un mes y ha funcionado muy bien. uno de los aparatos está retirado del equipo principal casi 20 metros y lo dividen 2 paredes de blocks de concreto y la señal llega excelente. Lo compre en un precio muy bueno (1750 MX) con base y dos extensiones así que el precio es insuperable. Saludos desde Sonora, Mexico.

El teléfono cuenta con pantalla de gran tamaño, el sonido es bueno, fácil de usar los materiales son buenos respecto al precio de venta en conclusión una buena compra. Con el tiempo tal vez deje de funcionar el teléfono inalambrico pero la base alambrica seguirá funcionando incluso si se va la luz.
