During the colder evenings I can't keep the door open for the cat so I bought this so I know when the cat returns. As it's not fully waterproof I screwed into the fence under a glass garden table. Now my cat doesn't have to freeze outside. I changed the receiver to the flashing lights, but face it away because it's very bright. Also it's a good that you to take it around the house with you. Highly recommended !!

I have it by entrance door and lets me know loudly if someone comes in.

I bought this to put in garage so I know when kitten comes though catflap. We only have catflap in external door so we needed to know when she had come into garage. The sensor is excellent and the alarm can be moved around the house. We now get an alarm so we know she’s in garage and we nip down and let her into the house. Perfect solution!
