I have been using a CPAP machine for years, and for the longest time, I struggled with a recurring issue: congestion would force me to open my mouth while sleeping, leading to severe dry mouth. This would wake me up constantly, completely defeating the purpose of using the CPAP in the first place . My pulmonologist recommended XyliMelts, and they have been an absolute lifesaver. Now, I don't wake up nearly as much, and the quality of my rest has improved significantly. I’ve tried other products like Biotene, but I couldn't use them—the taste was nasty and unpleasant to me . If you take a med that causes dry mouth, or if you have dry mouth at night, this product is life changing and excellent. Just pop it into your mouth up top on the gum between teeth and cheek, and the little brown side is like a gentle suction cup and sits there most of the night and gentle causes your mouth to salivate gently and lightly. This is SO much better than ones you take that are like blue cough drops- don't work. If you have night-time dry mouth problems, this is your solution. If you sleep mostly on one side, put it on the other side and let the saliva gently flow. Lessens morning bad breath a tad too.

It is an amazing product and cheapest place I have purchased it. I am not to drink after 7PM and it gets me through the night without dry mouth. I couldn’t be without it.

I was having issues with dry mouth during the night as I use a CPAP. Besides checking over all the hardware and seals for my CPAP, and setting temperatures/humidity, there is only so much to control. My dry mouth was causing my cheeks and jaw to get severely dried out and would wake up with an unpleasant sticking due to the dryness. First night, I tried 1 of these on my upper molars, and it already was working wonders, but my mouth was still dry, but 80% better than the previous night without the XyliMelts. Next time I tried 2, one on each side of my lower molars, and it worked wonders! I still woke up with a little dry mouth, but it was such an improvement I will be using these every night going forward. Each XyliMelt is individually packaged, so you don't have to worry about freshness. They pop out of the foil easily, and you can set them into your gumline before they start to set. Once they set, they do stay put. Just follow the simple directions on the box and you won't have issues. I also really like that you can drink liquids after putting them in, if needed, as I often drink water before bed, or if I wake up in the middle of the night. The taste is excellent, a very, very light minty taste, enough to be good, but not overpowering and you will quickly forget about it, which is probably what you would want when using at night. The thickness of the melt itself is a little big, and I'll notice it in my mouth while falling asleep, but it isn't disruptive enough to distract you or wake you up. Overall, a super good product, although slightly expensive.I think part of that is due to a niche product, but also the packaging - which to be fair is nice, since it will keep each individual melt fresh and the breakout packs mean you can take some traveling easily without worrying about bottles etc. My only complaints in the end would be the price (I will look to buy bulk now that I know they work for me) and maybe the fact it won't last a full 7-8 hrs of sleep for me, but still highly recommended for dry mouth!

One pill takes away my dry mouth immediately and lasts for hours. I keep them in my purse all the time.

I was surprised how well these work. They said to stick them to the side of your mouth, but I stick them to the roof of my mouth and they keep my mouth moist all night. I have been on a CPAP since 1999 and I have developed very dry mouth during the night wakes me up. My mouth is pasted shut, but with this product, I don’t have to worry and my mouth feels good in the morning. A little expensive but worth it.

I have very serious problems with dry mouth because of all the medication I take. I carry these everywhere, and they are a lifesaver!

I like this disc medicine for my mouth dryness but it last for 6-7 hrs.

Once you get the hang of using these (you stick the melts to your palate) they work well, stay in place and last for around four or five hours. I have a severely dry mouth and they make it much more moist and comfortable. They taste ok too. The only negative is the cost, they are very expensive.

No more dry mouth, last 90-120 minutes and very easy to use once placed to my gums.

If you suffer from a dry mouth that disturbs your sleep as I do, then this tablet works for me.
