BLOCCS 100% Waterproof Leg Cast Cover – Baby (12-24 months) – Reusable Shower, Bath & Swim Protector – XS

Worked great for my German Shepard who broke her paw and couldn’t get her cast wet! Bought the baby size for an arm. Kept her cast dry on rainy days!

I bought the BLOCCS XS a couple of weeks ago for my 5-year-old, who currently has a cast that goes halfway up his calf. The cover fits just below his knee and has been excellent for pool time—his cast has stayed completely dry every single time. For extra peace of mind, I also use a second cast cover, which is a different brand and shape. I found out however, that it’s not pool-proof. That said, the BLOCCS cover does the job on its own—I just use the secondary one as a backup in case of a puncture or rogue cannonball. Bottom line: BLOCCS works great, even with a very active 5-year-old. Highly recommend if you want to keep casts dry without turning pool time into a science experiment.

We tried two other "water proof" cast covers before ordering this one. The others would have been fine for a quick shower, but let in a lot of water when any substantial amount of water touched the seal. My daughter wasn't even able to swim with two kickboards, trying to prop her arm as much out of the water as possible, without her cast getting very wet with the other covers. The Bloccs water proof cover is completely different. My daughter has been able to complete two entire 1.5 hr club swim team practices since we received this a few days ago (sticking mostly to kickboard practice) without her cast getting wet, other than condensation/sweat inside of the cover. It's tight, so got a little uncomfortable at first and she took a break mid way to air her arm/cast out, but she didn't have to worry about keeping her arm fully out of the water because it stayed dry even when completely submerged. She's even gone to the bottom of our home pool to retrieve items dropped in and not had any leakage. This is a great cover. Flexible, actually waterproof for swimming, and reusable. It feels similar to the material used in swim caps. I am ordering a second one just in case we rip this one in the month between now and when she gets her cast off. Great for swimming!! Great for showers and baths. She can actually dive underwater with this without water leaking in. Amazing product! Thanks, Bloccs, for saving us from missing out on six weeks of practice before a big swim meet!!

I don't typically write reviews but I had to for this one. My 18 month old broke her wrist 4 days before our annual family reunion beach trip. I cried when the doctor told me - "I'm going to be honest with you, she just shouldn't go to the beach." But resolved that I would have to accept it and make do. I was so worried about water and sand, especially with her not being able to articulate a whole lot about what might be bothering her. I ended up buying this in an XS (measured her arm right above the cast) and decided we would use it if it fit well. We tried it and it did! She doesn't like putting it on, but it doesn't seem to bother her or make a terrible mark when we take it off. We left it on for up to 2 hours and it kept both water and sand out at the beach and pool. It's been great for Bath time also. If you're nervous about it, I advise you to just try it in small increments of time near water - so maybe in the shower where they're not immersed in water but are getting it wet- and see how it does and feels. Thats initially all we did but got more comfortable as the week went on. I hope this gives hope to partners, especially those with toddlers, that you can still enjoy being in the water with a cast. We initially were hoping for a waterproof cast but she doctor said she's too small and it could slip off, but this honestly is all we needed!

My 11 month old fractured his ankle 10 days before our vacation to Hawaii. We ordered this and it came quickly. It was easy to put on, stayed secured and kept all sand and water out. This took so much stress away for our big family vacation.

This product is worth the money. I have a VERY active boy that broke his arm right before our summer beach vacation. This cover did an AMAZING job at keeping the water off his cast. We used this cover for 8 days straight, in the ocean, bay, and pool. It went on and off his arm about 4-6 times per day. He body surfed the waves in the ocean, went kayaking, paddle boarding, tubing, jumped off the side of the pool, etc. and there was no ripping this cover. By the end of the week, it started to wear a bit around the top from putting it on and off so much. We put a smaller, thinner cover under this one just in case. By the end of the week, there were a few drops of water between the two covers, but overall his arm stayed dry. We were able to have a great vacation where everyone could participate in water sports because of this cover!!! I would HIGHLY recommend this product.

We got the XS for our toddler. It’s difficult to get on and the top of the cast is typically wet after use and we need to blow dry it. It is better than nothing but I was more hopeful it would be a better solution.

This product worked fairly well. To begin with, I'm an adult, 5'3" and 115 lbs, so on the petite side but still a regular adult that wears adult clothing. Based on my arm measurements though, Bloccs recommended a child-size 4-9 year olds, so that's what I ordered. And it definitely fit me, so I'm glad I didn't order the adult size as was my first inclination. Definitely measure! I ordered this for showering and going in the pool, and I have to say it was VERY difficult to get on by myself, so I ended up only using it for the pool when someone could help me. However, once it was on, it worked very well. It does hold air though, so my arm ended up mostly floating by my side when i was in the pool, which wasn't unpleasant but a bit bizarre. Or you can try to have someone squeeze the air out for you, but that doesn't work too well either. Also my arm got pretty hot in an airtight rubber sleeve, but I suppose that's to be expected Anyways, long story short, it gets the job done. It kept my cast dry in the pool, but it's difficult to get on and gets very hot inside. And definitely measure the arm, don't just order the age range you think is right.

If you’re unlucky enough to be reading this, look no further. Buy this one! My youngest son fractured his wrist two weeks before we were due to fly to Turkey for holiday. We thought the holiday would have to be cancelled but then we came across this. It is no exaggeration when I say that this product is incredible. It has one job to do, and it does it perfectly. No water was able to get through the seal of this cover at all. We had a little scare on the first day when he said that his hand was wet, but when we checked, it was sweat, not pool water. That’s how good this is. Nothing gets in and nothing gets out. We used this in the pool and the sea and it worked perfectly every time. I will pre warn you though, because the seal is so good, it gets VERY smelly, buts that’s a small price to pay if it saves a holiday. Buy this one!!

Great product for a difficult time. It is quite snug but it’s suppose to be so it does the job effectively.

Aunque cuesta un poco para poner, y de lo que aprieta en el bracito deja marca, lo aconsejo por qué no pasa ni una gota de agua. El bracito mide unos 33cm y le cogí la S, perfecto.
