This worked perfectly for us! My son is 4 and I got an x small. It goes about 2 inches above his elbow and his cast is below his elbow. He was army crawling in the sand, fully swimming in the ocean, and getting as covered in sand as possible. Not one piece of sand was in it and it was completely dry every time! Very easy to use and does the job! Highly recommend this product!

I bought the BLOCCS XS a couple of weeks ago for my 5-year-old, who currently has a cast that goes halfway up his calf. The cover fits just below his knee and has been excellent for pool time—his cast has stayed completely dry every single time. For extra peace of mind, I also use a second cast cover, which is a different brand and shape. I found out however, that it’s not pool-proof. That said, the BLOCCS cover does the job on its own—I just use the secondary one as a backup in case of a puncture or rogue cannonball. Bottom line: BLOCCS works great, even with a very active 5-year-old. Highly recommend if you want to keep casts dry without turning pool time into a science experiment.

The XS size worked great for my 1-year-old during every bath time. Water never got in, and it fits snugly without being too tight. It’s a little tough to put on, but that’s what makes it effective—once it’s on, it does its job perfectly. Definitely recommend it.

I bought this for my grandson after he broke his leg, a second time. It is a total lifesaver! It does exactly what it says it will! Pricey, but worth the price!

We tried two other "water proof" cast covers before ordering this one. The others would have been fine for a quick shower, but let in a lot of water when any substantial amount of water touched the seal. My daughter wasn't even able to swim with two kickboards, trying to prop her arm as much out of the water as possible, without her cast getting very wet with the other covers. The Bloccs water proof cover is completely different. My daughter has been able to complete two entire 1.5 hr club swim team practices since we received this a few days ago (sticking mostly to kickboard practice) without her cast getting wet, other than condensation/sweat inside of the cover. It's tight, so got a little uncomfortable at first and she took a break mid way to air her arm/cast out, but she didn't have to worry about keeping her arm fully out of the water because it stayed dry even when completely submerged. She's even gone to the bottom of our home pool to retrieve items dropped in and not had any leakage. This is a great cover. Flexible, actually waterproof for swimming, and reusable. It feels similar to the material used in swim caps. I am ordering a second one just in case we rip this one in the month between now and when she gets her cast off. Great for swimming!! Great for showers and baths. She can actually dive underwater with this without water leaking in. Amazing product! Thanks, Bloccs, for saving us from missing out on six weeks of practice before a big swim meet!!

This saved my son’s campout. Of course he broke his finger and got a cast the week before the big water sports campout with scouts. I had no expectations of him swimming with this, I just wanted him to still be able to boat at least. My husband was going along to supervise so I wasn’t too worried. And then he sent pictures of my son swimming in this. But it far surpassed expectations. It survived 3 days of rough and tumble boys water sports plus another 2 weeks of sprinkler, water slide, etc at home. Actually, it still looks good enough I saved it in case of another cast. We measured and went by the chart, this is very important because you want a good fit. My son is thin so we had to go 2 sizes smaller than his age. This fit fine, snug but not uncomfortable (trust me, if you knew my son you’d know he’s let me know if it was). Since the snug part is quite wide it not only didn’t hurt but was wide enough to not roll up. Yes, it’s a learning process to get it on. We started with a cheap cast cover from the drugstore that we had originally bought for showers but was insanely thin. This kept the sharpness of the cast covered which also made it easier to slide if we needed to. We then kind of folded it inside out in half. We put his hand in as far as we could and then unrolled/unfolded it onto his arm while also pulling it as needed. To make sure no water came in through the seal we shoved the rest of the other cast cover inside so it wasn’t messing with the seal. It definitely wasn’t something he could do himself because you need 2 hands to stretch it as you put it on initially. The material reminds me of a really thick balloon so it is stretchy and sturdy. With 8 kids this is my 7th cast I’ve had to deal with (6 of which were also an arm) so we’ve tried more than our fair share of cast covers. This is the only one I recommend.

Came in packaging with instructions, the material was a little stretchy, but not very much. I think I got the wrong size because the little boy I was trying to use it for had a cast that goes up the elbow and I was very scared to put this over his cast because of how tight it was, and I didn’t want to hurt his arm. I think had it fit him, it would’ve been extremely waterproof and would have protected his cast very well.

To make a long story short, my daughter broke her ankle at the beginning of summer, and because I still wanted her to enjoy the summer we decided to try this based on a recommendation. After this product was recommended to us I went on and started looking. I found this and followed the sizing guide to a T. My hubby and I felt confident this was going to work. After unboxing, I still felt good about it. Because of the material I knew it would be a little bit of a struggle to get over the cast which of course it was. Here is where things went south. The material itself is great, however toward the top becomes very thin and almost feels like it could break. The worst part though was with the fit. It states to measure from bottom of foot to just above the cast (which we did). However when we put it on our daughter it literally sits just above the cast and so when she moves it starts to roll or shift and it becomes too small. At first you think it’s going to fit great it seals nice to leg, but after a few leg movements it is now down to the cast. Not to mention that we had to pull up on it so much that it was squeezing her toes at the bottom. I should mention that her cast is from toes to just below her knee. I guess I said all of that, to say this. When measuring, I would go well above the cast (like 5 inches) and then do the measurement around the leg itself. I would have much rather of had it a little big instead of so tight that it allowed for no movement. Looking back we would have made the protector go above the knee. I am not saying don’t buy the product, I would just be sure you give some wiggle room for the length of the protector.

Had planned a trip away with friends that involved taking the kids swimming and was about to cancel when I got told about this product. I was very sceptical at first, especially as my daughter didn’t complain (like the other reviews) that it felt too tight on the upper arm. My daughter is very petite and has skinny. Anyhow, tried it with caution and couldn’t believe it, it worked 100%! The product itself inflated when my daughter went into the pool, which then obviously sealed it to stop the water getting in. She remained dry the whole time. Worth the money also at home, as it came in useful for the showers and baths

Ma fille s’étant fissurée la malléole juste avant les vacances, elle a eu droit au plâtre! Et comme on partait à la mer, il fallait trouver une solution pour qu’elle puisse en profiter au maximum! C’est chose faite! Ce protège plâtrée est parfait: résistant sous la douche, dans la piscine, dans la mer, sur le sable, etc. Il est facile d’utilisation. Attention ne pas se fier aux tailles de plâtre indiquées mais aux âges pour choisir le modèle!! Petite astuce: enlever l’air au maximum en le mettant sinon ça fait bouée! Le haut serre un peu mais c’est fait exprès.

Normalerweise bin ich eher faul im Rezessionen schreiben, aber dieses Produkt hat mich so begeistert, dass ich mir die Zeit unbedingt für eine hilfreiche Rezession nehmen wollte. Mein Tochter (7 Jahre) hat sich pünktlich zum Start des Sommers ihren Unterarm gebrochen und musste für 4 Wochen einen Gips tragen. Ihr größter Alptraum war, dass sie nicht ins Freibad kann oder dort zumindest nur sehr eingeschränkt bisschen platschen kann. Nachdem wir bereits von 2 anderen Herstellern einen Gipsschutz gekauft haben und diese weder wasserdicht, noch angenehm zum tragen waren und auch die Größenangaben überhaupt nicht gestimmt haben, wollte ich diesem Produkt eine letzte Chance geben. Der Gummiüberzug kam zügig an und lässt sich mit 2 Händen (also einer weiteren Person) recht leicht über den Arm überstülpen. Er liegt sehr dicht mit der Öffnung direkt am Arm an, dennoch hat meine Tochter nur einen ganz leichten Abdruck davon gehabt. Wir haben dann erst einmal sehr vorsichtig getestet, wie wasserdicht der Gummiüberzug wirklich ist. Es hat sich dann herausgestellt, dass der Überzug tatsächlich 100% wasserdicht ist, meine Tochter ist damit mehrfach über eine Stunde im Wasser ist gerutscht, getaucht und geschwommen. Das Teil scheint auch sehr robust zu sein, solange man beim überziehen und ausziehen etwas aufpasst. Der einzige Mini Nachteil ist, dass die Hand unter dem Gummi leicht (aber absolut im Rahmen) zum schwitzen anfängt, das lässt sich aber natürlich kaum vermeiden. Das Teil kann einem selbst oder verletzten Kindern den Sommer oder Urlaub retten, würde es mit gebrochenem Unterarm jeden empfehlen!! War jeder € wert und wir heben es natürlich auf, auch wenn wir natürlich hoffen, das Ding nicht so schnell wieder nützen zu müssen😉

Zeer goed en stevig product. Compleet waterdicht. Ons kind kon zelfs met de hoes en het gips eronder lopen rondom het zwembad zonder dat er gaten in de hoes kwamen.
