Are these spoons magnetic?

The spoons do not have any magnetic properties. Because they are stainless steel they do not react to a magnetic source either.

Can these be used to stir very hot liquid (melted wax) without damage to the spoon?

I don't think stirring hot wax would damage the spoon, but it would require some effort to clean.

For the black color, does it rub off?

These spoons are beautiful and exactly what I was looking for! They feel sturdy, have a nice weight to them, and the twisted handle design gives them an elegant look. I can currently still find 1 out of 2! I have kids who help with chores and things get misplaced! Have had these for years and they still work wonderfully for coffees, teas, mixing sauces, ect! They do lose a little color after a while but still amazing
