Crosley Furniture Seaside Hall Tree with Shoe Rack Bench and Coat Hooks for Hanging Storage, Distressed White

I wanted a hall tree/bench for our home. We have a garage that enters in the basement and are finishing the basement to be a welcoming entry into the house. This hall tree fit our space perfectly. The bottom holds my husband's shoes and it’s a good place for the kids to sit and put their shoes on before leaving. There is a “distressed” look to the surface which looks fine. I ordered some baskets to hold gloves on the top shelf and added a welcome sign and other decor to the top as well. The baskets, rustic jar, and welcome sign are all from Amazon as well. Assembly was easy. My husband and I put it together in a couple hours.

First off, I bought 2 of these. GREAT packaging! FedEx beat the living #### out of these in transit. I thought for sure I was going to need to return both units, but once we peeled the shell there was only 1 little chip in the finish. Easy to assemble with more than enough screws & bolts in the package. I had both assembled in under 2 hours. They weigh about 100lbs each and feel quite sturdy. Also, they are much taller than expected. The only complaint is the assembly instructions...they weren't there, in either box. Each box had the big red "Checked" stamp on them, but apparently not. I searched the leftover packaging and in each wrapped piece, nada. Head over to the manufacturers site and download the instructions...the PDF is missing step 1 LOL. Easy enough to figure out the missing step, just laughable

Easily assembled. Good quality. Looks nice. Arrived with a damaged piece but I contacted Crosley and they shipped a replacement right away.

The Good: Wood is particle board, but the piece is very sturdy (especially the bench seat). Assembly took a while, but it's pretty straight forward. Piece is flush w floor w plastic bottom and VERY easy to move. Also comes with wall mount on top for extra support. Piece is eye catching and great for small kids to sit, climb, and keep their school junk off the floor. Adding decor on top can also help give the appearance of extra height. The Not So Good: We did have a missing screw hole or two, you probably need 2 people for assembly, and the "distressed" look is pretty nonexistent. It still worked for our room/overall decor, but that was a little disappointing that it was basically all black. Storage area above and below is not massive, but for umbrellas, kid shoes or other travel knick knacks, it would work fine. Overall, it's a nice piece, and the "distressed" part came in handy when we accidentally added our own contribution to the finish.

Wanted to give my entryway a little facelift, but also was looking for a much needed “dump zone”. Love the shelf (I added baskets also found on Amazon). The hooks and hardware are strong and pair well with the look of the piece. The bench is wide and perfect for dropping bags, Amazon packages or to sit while putting on shoes. This was actually really enjoyable to put together. All pieces were labeled nicely, the tools were organized well, and the directions were clear. I do agree with some reviews that say it was shorter than desired. And I would look to add legs so that the hooks are at at least eye level.

This works great for us. The dimensions were exactly as described in product listing. It comes in a lot of pieces but my husband and I didn’t have too much trouble putting it together. No signs of damage when it arrived. You’ll definitely need two people to assemble. Once assembled, it looks great and is sturdy. Fits in with our farmhouse-style decor. The hooks are strong and hold backpacks and totes filled with stuff. The hidden shelf underneath hides clutter! The bench is large enough for an adult to sit on. Overall, great purchase for extra storage!

We recently moved across the country and I left our “shoe tree” in the previous home. I needed something for our laundry room that could hold backpacks, shoes, and odds and ends from 5 people coming in and out. I looked at a lot of different options and styles on Amazon and ultimately settled on this one based on esthetic and reviews. It honestly is really nice. It’s solid and doesn’t feel cheap. Yes you have to put it together but it was pretty easy compared to a lot of other things I have had to configure lately from Amazon. It’s modern but also farmhouse, and coastal… it could work for any. I love that the shoes are hidden in the cabinet below. It just keeps things looking clean. Buy it! This is the one.

Product took about an hour and a half for me to put together by myself and being handy with tools. With that said, directions were concise, clear and used both images and piece/hardware numbers to keep the process as dummy-proof as possible. The piece is SOLID, well put together and doesn't have even the slightest hint of being a cheap unit. We've had it in the house now about three months and it doesn't wobble, stands up to being stood on and having a three-year-old jump off it, and the hooks hold anything worth hanging. Very happy with the purchase, and especially liked that I was able to visualize it in the space before purchasing it. Attached are two photos: one of the visualized piece and the other is the actual unit in place. Pretty spot on! Well worth the money and arrived well packaged and no damage whatsoever.

Quality unit. Easy to put together. Nice hardware. Although I did measure the space it would go ... it was shorter then I would have liked. I am 5’7” and I have to bend down to hang a coat.

We ordered this now because we were not sure if it would be available in the Spring. It sits in our shed, unopened. The shipping box was a bit damaged but doesn’t appear significant. Will report on May 2022.
