Harney & Sons English Breakfast Black Tea Bags, 50 Count

I've been on a bit of a quest to find the perfect everyday black tea, and after trying quite a few brands, this is the one that keeps finding its way back into my cup. Over the years I've enjoyed Twinings, Tazo, and Stash, but somewhere along the line they just stopped impressing me. Then I tried Harney & Sons. Game over. This tea has a rich, full-bodied flavor without becoming bitter or harsh. It's bold enough to wake you up in the morning, yet smooth enough that I can happily drink several cups throughout the day. Whether I'm having it plain or with a squeeze of lemon and a little sweetener, it never disappoints. Another thing I appreciate is the consistency. Every tea bag produces the same great cup, which isn't something I can honestly say about every brand I've tried. The bags are well made, the aroma is wonderful, and there's something comforting about opening the tin and knowing exactly what you're going to get: a genuinely excellent cup of tea. At this point I don't just buy it... I buy it in mass quantities. If civilization ever takes an unexpected detour, I'll probably be the guy calmly sipping Harney & Sons while everyone else is panic-buying coffee. Five stars. This has become my everyday tea, and I don't see that changing anytime soon. ☕

I stumbled across this tea a while back, maybe a few years ago. Don't think I ever heard of Keemun tea previously. I had been buying this from a local store, but they stopped selling it. You can buy from the manufacturer, but the shipping fee is hefty. So ordering here with Prime is a nice option. I noticed a few reviews here with shipping complaints. Maybe I'm just lucky, but mine arrived on time, no damage to the product box, and it was sealed (so all 50 tea bags were there). Oh and it has a 2028 expiration date, which is nice because I drink a different tea each day depending on what flavor I'm in the mood for that day. But when I just want a good basic black tea, this English Breakfast tea hits the spot.

I love Harney and Sons teas, and this one is no different. A wonderfully flavored tea that is distinctly British and transports you to a London Cafe with your first sip. Great sweetened with honey or a little raw sugar. (I'm not personally partial to cream or lemon in my tea, but if you like it that way, it will also compliment this tea very well.) I also love getting the 50-packs of tea bags as it is cheaper than buying the 20 or 30 pack tea sachets and I prefer the individually wrapped tea bags to the sachets as well. Highly recommended! My only minor complaint I had with this order was that my box of tea bags was shipped along with some heavier items and the box got squished and badly damaged in shipping. I thought they should have done a much better job packaging my order than they did to prevent damage to my items. They should have put this box of tea bags into another box along with other more delicate items instead of trying to squeeze them all into one box. I mean, the tea bags themselves were okay and were still usable, but the original box they come in was mangled beyond recognition when I got it.

Delicious! Our whole family enjoys the flavor of this tea. Harney & Sons never let us down. All of their teas are delicious and we always keep them in our pantry. They are a really good, family run business and make a really good quality product. This box of tea makes a wonderful Christmas present for a tea lover in your life or for a Secret Santa work present. Would definitely recommend this product to others. Thank you!

Edit: 3/3/22 Not sure what’s changed. If it’s me or the tea playing tricks on me. But it tastes better now. Maybe I had to have a few thousand cups of strong tea to adjust my tastebuds, maybe the tea gods like me now. Not sure. Whatever happened, though, it tastes good. I’m improving my score from a 3 up to a 4. Original review: The box and packaging were nice, I like the red box and branding. The teabags were all jostled inside though and took away from the presentation. I've had a few cups and here's my take. I used fresh boiling water, tried pulling the bag at the suggested time and leaving it in, drank it black and with cream... Overall, it's a pretty weak flavored tea. It's very subtle without any of the tannic tea flavors. It was a lot nicer with cream and I didn't notice any difference if I left the bag in or not. I did notice a nice jolt of caffeine after each cup The smell is very tea-e To quote Ted Lasso, it just tastes like hot brown water.

Flavorless, worst tea I've ever had, and I drink tea pretty much every day and have so for decades. I thought I'd try a different brand, but no thanks, throwing the rest away like it's Boston in 1773.

This item was a gift to someone who had drank Harneys English breakfast tea whilst on holiday I the US and said it was the best tea they had ever tasted. The product arrived very promptly earlier than expected, so I would say great service
