Connector needed
Cable plus connector pair to update software. Worked well.

Works and saves a trip to the bike shop
Worked perfectly to update the firmware on my DI2 9200 shifters. I connected the cable from the front mech to the upgrade cable with this connector and the ETube app saw the shifter and updated it. Easy peasy.

Worked
I updated the firmware in my Ultrega 12-speed Di2 shifters using this junction and a Di2 cable "SHIMANO 2Nd Gen E-Tube Di2 Wire Ew-Sd300, 1400Mm". I'm a bit disappointed in Shimano that a wired connection is needed to update, though.

Fits Shimano Ew-Sd300 E-Tube Di2 Wire perfectly.
This adapter accepts the "Shimano Ew-Sd300 E-Tube Di2 Wire", allowing for a connection to the battery via the unplugged front derailleur cable. Once connected, your shifters become "wired" and can be updated individually. You may also want to grab a TL-EW300 Cable Tool to make the process easier.

Does the Job
Needed this junction in order to connect wired components to wireless shifters for firmware update on 12speed. Worked like a charm. Plugged in, hit “update” and we were off to the races.
