Beautiful Red compact sub!!
I paired this sub with my red Kanto ORA4 and the 2 work soo well together! For such a small size it fills my small office nicely and makes gaming awesome!! I love the red color, and sound quality is beyond what I expected from its size. It’s also very solidly built. Pros: - Compact - One of the few unique color options subs on the market - On sale it’s a really good deal - easy to set up - has a wireless accessory option Cons: - There are many options in its retail price range so check carefully for sales.

Perfect in a condo
I had an old but sturdy 10" subwoofer that could really shake the floor. But I live in a small condo and it took up too much room and it was hard to enjoy without forcing the people next door from having to feel it too. When I first got this S6, I was admittedly feeling a bit disappointed. But over time, and after a lot of testing with it off, it's absolutely perfect for its recommended use. I have some JBL "bookshelf" speakers with 6 inch drivers that put out reasonable bass by themselves, but this definitely fills in some lower frequency and gives the clear sense of presence, weigth and bass...without making me worry as much about offending the neighbors. It is also much tighter, much "punchier" and more precise than my old sub. I've now had it for 6 months and am glad I made the switch. Movies hit plenty hard, dubstep tracks are tight and full. It's clearly not expected to be the ultimate heart-stopper, but it does its job filling in the bottom enough to get by, without shaking the pictures off the walls next door. Exactly what I needed! I also love how small it is, and in white it's just a pleasant little thing in the living room that pays its rent every day. Solid build, good looks, and well worth the money.

The Ultimate Desktop Subwoofer – Absolute Clarity Without the Desk Rattle
I am running the Audioengine S6 as part of my desktop setup alongside a pair of Kanto ORA desktop speakers. For anyone looking to add high-quality low-end to a compact workspace, the S6 is an absolute masterpiece of engineering. My previous subwoofer struggled with mechanical vibrations. Even when tucked away under the desk, it would physically shake the floorboards and vibrate my desk legs, creating an aggressive, fatiguing "punch" that cluttered the music—especially during quiet morning listening sessions. The Audioengine S6 completely solved this. The first thing you notice about the S6 is its weight; it is an incredibly dense, heavy little tank for its size. That extra mass completely swallows the physical kinetic energy of the driver. Instead of the cabinet shaking my floor, 100% of the energy goes directly into moving the air. The result is a beautifully smooth, tight, and effortless bass response that blends seamlessly with the ORA speakers. Even during quiet, solo acoustic tracks or soft guitar pieces early in the morning, the S6 remains flawlessly clean. There are no narrow frequency humps, no mechanical clutter, and zero electronic noise. It provides the holy grail of desktop audio: a subwoofer that completely disappears both audibly and physically into the room, leaving you with nothing but pure, accurate music. If you want punchy yet perfectly controlled bass that doesn't turn your desk into a vibrating paint mixer, the Audioengine S6 is worth every single penny.

Awesome subwoofer!
Just added the Audioengine S6 to my desktop setup, and wow—what a difference! This little sub is an absolute powerhouse in a perfectly compact box. It integrates seamlessly with my A2+ speakers, filling the room with rich, detailed bass you can feel, not just hear. It doesn’t boom or muddy the mids; it just extends the entire soundstage beautifully, making everything from acoustic tracks to action movies more immersive. The build quality is solid, setup was plug-and-play simple, and its small footprint is a huge plus. If you want to add serious, clean low-end to a bookshelf or computer system without overwhelming your space, the S6 is a fantastic investment. Zero regrets—just great bass!

Compact, tight deep tone
Really a nice unit to compliment smaller speakers. Plug and Play and plenty powerful. Dial crossover is perfect for fine tuning.

Sound bigger than a 6" woofer
Good cleat bass and unit has great adjustments to tune the unit. Definitely would recommend.

The Little Sub That Could
The item arrived unscathed and was double-boxed for safety, and enclosed in a cloth wrapper for an extra oh-my moment. This sealed subwoofer is small in size but provides ample bass for our family room, which is approximately 12x17. Given its sealed design, positioning was easy, placement was forgiving, and hook-up was swift. A well-made solid product that does what it says it will do.

Pretty Good but not for my current setup.
I have a pair of PreSonus Monitors and wanted a subwoofer to pair with them. Needed the smallest option for space and this Audioengine Sub was a good size. I thought this would be plug and play if it had the correct inputs and outputs but it did not have anything to connect to my monitors as they use XLR and the only way would be to find a XLR to RCA or Aux cable or adapter and that would be more things to purchase. I did test it out with Aux with a different speaker and it does provide impressive lows and bass for its smaller size than other options but again since it dosnt have XLR, I can't plug and play to my monitors. I did look into the Augioengine A2+ monitors if I got those to pair but maybe another time if i am looking for new monitors. I ended up deciding to purchase a subwoofer from PreSonus so I can match brands but obviously its a little larger but its plug and play and I made it work. This Audioegine sub is still great and compact size but likely best with Audioengine monitors to pair with. I returned the sub but will consider the bundle option with monitors if I do replace my current setup.

Great sound for its size. Insensitive auto-on trigger only annoyance.
I'm using with Audio Engine A2+ connected to a PC/DAC. The sound is quite nice. It blends in well. Small size makes it easy to place. The only thing I'm not completely happy with is that the trigger volume for "auto on" is quite loud. I e I have to really crank up the A2+ to "wake" the sub. I'm not too happy about having it always on or have to manually turn it on.

Great match with the A2+
I mostly listen EDM and that thing brings the sound of my Audioengine A2+ to a whole new level. I had to put some foam under the printer sitting next to it to avoid vibrations noise.
