I already have a 2.5Ah batter since i have the hedge trimmer. Can use this with the lawnmower or does it have to be 4.0Ah battery?

Provided the 2.5Ah battery is one of our Power4All 18V range then it will be compatible with the mower however as it is a lower capacity you would not reach the quoted figures for recommended lawn area unless using a 4.0Ah battery.
