Panasonic RP-HJE125E-W in-Ear Canal Insidephone for iPod / MP3 Player (White)

I have a self appointed mission of finding inexpensive headphones that sound better than average. I have been on this quest for years as I am always never without my mp3 player or radio. I am rough on headphones and go through them fairly regularly. So I am always trying to find inexpensive headphones that sound better than my previous set (Skullcandy Ink'd). This time, after carefully reading reviews, I purchased 3 different headphones at once, all in the same price range (Under $15.00): The Panasonic RP-HJE125-A (Blue), The Skullcandy Jib, and The 2XL Spoke (Bounty Hunter Collection). My conclusions were that the 2XL Spoke were adequate, but a distant third place. While the 2XL had definitively better bass than the Skullcandy Ink'd, the 2XL's mids and highs were only adequate. The Skullcandy Jib completely blew the Scullcandy Ink'd away, with much better bass, mids and highs, I thought I found what I had been looking for, that my quest had ended. But there was still the Panasonic RP-HJE125 to listen to. I must say I had little expectation for these after listening to the Skullcandy Jib's. But what was this? Immediately the Panasonic's sounded impressive. After listening to them for a while, I listened to the Jib's again. I honestly preferred the cleaner sound of the Panasonic RP-HJE125, and the Ergo design was a plus, the fit was just so comfortable. So there you have my layman's evaluation of these three headsets and my hands down recommendation for the Panasonic RP-HJE125 (I got the Blue, however, I very much doubt that your color choice will affect the sound). Best earphones at such a low price. Because you will not find any earphones sounding such a great with a nice ear fit. This earphone comes with 2 type 1 without mic - This model hje 125 With mic - tcm 125 Both these models are exactly same except addition of microphone in tcm 125.

Good Headset, considering It's price.

Best earphones ever used. Can compare with Sennheiser HD 180 earphones. As I heard the sound quality of both but could not see much difference. Even the bass of this earphone is better than Sennheiser HD 180 earphones. So don't hesitate to buy. it's better value for money.

not like what is mentioned in the reviews of sites. It doesn't have good bass and treble quality. It maybe because i have sennheiser and sony and jbl and soundmagic ones. This headset when tweaked with EQ became very bang for the buck. It responds great to EQ tweaks. it is suitable for decent sound quality at a cheap price

Best bass and sound clarity. I have used skullcandy, senheisser, tekfusion and jbl. This one gives clarity like senheisser and bass like tekfusion. Better than jbl and skullcany.Also, this is my second time. I had already used one and it lasted for an year or so.

This piece of hardware worth more than every penny you give. Sound quality will just blow you. This headset is much better than sheinser and JBL. The only downgrade is the price, it's too low for this great headset.

I really liked it.The sound is a bit off in the beginning ...but can be easily adjusting using the equaliser to produce the best of it.Great earphone at this price. #use equaliser always

It works decently for cheap headphones, but the casing of one of the earbuds broke within a month of very light use. Very disappointed.

Really the best non-audiophile wired ear phones I've used. The sound is clear and they fit comfortably. I have several pairs so I'm not caught without.

I am not the most gentle person with headphones and I use them all the time, so I go through a lot of them. Therefore, price is a big factor for me, but at the same time, I don't want to sacrifice quality. These headphones seem to be the best of both worlds. ====== QUALITY ====== The build quality of these headphones is top notch and what you would expect from a company like Panasonic. They are light weight, robust and seem to have been made from excellent materials. The sound quality is top notch as well. As I said, my earphones have a high turnover rate so I have sampled a wide variety over the years. Before now I've found that the best sound quality (in an under £10 price range) were Sony in-ear headphones. These headphones (£5.25 at the time of purchase) are of similar, if not equal quality. ====== COMFORT ====== The other thing to look out for of course, is comfort. I often have my earphones in for several hours at a time so they need to feel comfortable. These certainly do. The buds themselves are of a strange design, ever so slightly off centre to the housing, but this works. They are so comfortable I forget that I am wearing them. ====== VERDICT ======= Overall, I am very impressed with these earphones. Cheap, comfortable and good quality, they tick all the right boxes for me. Therefore, an easy 5 stars.

Disappointingly average sound with bass severely lacking even for a balanced sound
