GEPULY Dome Port for GoPro Hero 8 Black, Dome Port Lens with Waterproof Housing Case, Trigger, Floating Hand Grip, Built-in Switchable Red Filter and 10x Macro Filter

Took it with us to Maui and got some good footage while snorkeling. Only problem is that it was difficult to keep under the water as it wants to float.

Was new to GoPro and underwater photography, but bought a GoPro and this dome port before heading on a recent trip to Hawaii and thought they were both great. It was bigger and more sturdily built than I had imagined, and having only just got the GoPro I liked that my waterproof camera was in a waterproof case for an added level of protection. It was relatively easy to swim while holding it, and the handle was sturdy feeling. The whole thing floats which is also good! I found it easier to use without the trigger (and had to watch a youtube video to work out how to attach the trigger, though in hindsight it seems quite obvious). Thought it worked well for general underwater photos/videos, and especially like the split over/underwater shots that one can get with a dome port.

It looks and feels good but the trigger is not made in the correct location. I am guessing the over all frame is warped out of place ??? It was packaged very well and professionally but the trigger is NOT usable at all. SMH!

The ergonomics design and concept of this product are very well thought out and waterproof. However, the biggest flaw comes with the most important part the lens. For something in the price range, I would expect at least a little bit better of a lens cover, I’ll call it it is not clear and in my case there was a little distortion in the plastic so After reviewing the recording, you would notice some of the fish that passed through part of the screen were a little distorted. This could just be a quality check issue as I cannot attest for the rest of the products.

Works, but the picture quality is just so, so. I keep experimenting but it doesn't seem to gain much clarity or color.
