I’ve had other encasement mattress covers, but I like this one the best so far. It zips off the top instead of the sides of the mattress which make it so simple to take it off and launder it. I thought I might feel the zipper on the edges when I’m sleeping/resting but I don’t. It’s not hot at all, very soft. I’d definitely purchase this again.

Twin XL Size Waterproof Viscose Made from Bamboo Mattress Encasement by Slumberfy, is a solid choice for customers who want comfortable sleep but also want a waterproof covering for the mattress. This is the 2nd purchase I’ve made of this zippered cover. The first was five years ago and even after ongoing washing, it is still perfect. I wash in mild detergent on gentle cycle. Both my purchases are for use on in-home care hospital type beds. I not only encase the mattress but also encase a 4” memory foam topper and being able to place the topper on top of mattress and fully encasing both helps keep the topper in place and adds stability for fitted sheets and better comfort for user. The cover’s top layer is soft and skin safe; does not cause user to sweat, either, as is a problem with some waterproof mattress covers. Plus, It does not make the weird annoying sounds either like some waterproof materials. It’s actually hard to believe it’s waterproof, but having had experience with liquids spilled (I.e. beverages, medicines and body fluids), the waterproofing material kept the spills from seeping into the topper. As I mentioned, the cover is easy to clean, but another reason I recommend this cover is the well made zipper design. It unzips almost flat which makes placement of the mattress and (in my case) adding the topper a breeze to make up or stripping for laundry. I have not used stain removers like Clorox. If I m concerned with a specific spill, my choice is liquid dish soap with Peroxide for stains like blood. The XL size fits 9-12” depth. I did wash item before first using on bed but there’s no new odor to be concerned about either. The price is very reasonable for this product.

This encampment was much easier to put on them the one piece models. I like that I can easily remove the top for washing, when needed. I just hope this one is really waterproof like it says, because the lady one i has was not.

EDIT 11/13/2023 I contacted the manufacturer via email about my issues with the product. They were very helpful and straightforward. They had me email them pictures of the encasement showing the issues that I was having along with my order number and contact information. I did that and less than 24 hours later I had tracking info for my replacement. The replacement had had no issues thus far and I was very happy with thier outstanding service. I have changed my review of the product from 1 star to 4 stars due to great customer service honoring warranty. Unfortunately, the zipper did now hold well. I was making the bed and noticed that the zipper was open. I went to find the zipper to rezip it up and the zipper was still in the closed position, but the zipper came apart half way around the bed... I went to RMA the product and the return window has closed :( I will contact the seller and update review with that experience.

So far its good. It was much easier to put on the bed than other covers. I don't have a lot of experience buying these I'm glad I got the bigger twin to be a little bigger than my bed. I got a queen size was very difficult to wash it. I'm hopeful that this cover will be better. The zipper also broke on one and this zipper seems better quality. I have allergy and it's bad here in austin. The allergist dr told me a bed cover will help.

Holy moly!!!! I got this almost 3 years ago when I was getting new mattress (expensive one) so I needed something to protect it in my new house, also because sometimes I take food to bed while watching tv, the smell at first was like floral little bit like lavender, not noisy when I sleep or move, functionality was great but didnt have a big test to see how it works with liquid and stains until one day one of my relatives came home and gave them my mattress but she got her period while sleeping and she woke up crying because she thought she messed up my mattress but oh surprise when I pull out this protector the mattress was pristine and that was a big test because it handle the stain and liquid protection(put it in the washing machine and was brand new till this day) after that I was so happy and recommend everybody I know this protector and this are the 3rd one I get because the first one was for a queen mattress so If I have to give you and advice is get it and dont even think about getting a different one. This is perfect! Waterproof 100/10 Heat retention 10/10 Mattress protection 10000/10 Period protection 1000000/10 😅 Get it you wont regret it

Fits our Wayfair mattress perfectly. Make it look clean and new. I am getting hot at night now though. I am not a 'big' or hot person in general but last 2 nights I keep waking up to change position because the parts touching the mattress are hot and sweaty. I usually sleep like the dead...
