Great product
Bought this to go on my Kelty 3.0 as the only Kelty brand mirror I could find did not look as though it would match with the backpack I have. Works great, attaches easily and allows me to check on my little one while we are out and about. My baby also enjoys looking at herself and playing with it. Seems to be well made as my older children have had fun pulling on the retractable cord and letting it snap back and it is still working fine. A must for all backpack baby carriers.

So handy!
This comes in handy all the time! It's great to see whether our daughter is slouched over, sleeping, comfortable, looking around, in the sun, etc. Just clip on and go! We were a little disappointed in the "homemade" look of it from the standpoint that we could have made one ourselves. All it is made of is three things: a carabineer, a retractable badge holder, and a blindspot mirror. Nevertheless, this is a must-have for our backpack. We thought we could make it without one but we ordered this after only a couple of hikes without it!

Simple, fun to use, but pricey
We bought the rear mirror to attach to our backpack carrier, as recommended by other users. It's great to be able to see in the carrier, especially, as opposed to other carriers where the child is against our body, it's hard to tell what's going on with our toddler as she sits on the little seat. It's hard to tell if she's awake or asleep. So the mirror is super handy! The only drawback is the price - it's rather high given the quality of materials.

Cheap. No, really Cheap. No really, really cheap.
It is a retractable lanyard like you use for an ID badge in the office, attached to a carabiner that might be rated for 8 ounces, and the ID card holder has a car rearview mirror attached with really cheap double sided tape. The carabiner has a threaded lock to keep it from opening needlessly, that came with such sloppy tolerances that it is possible to move the lock without actually engaging the threads. I had it clipped to my belt and the double sided tape gave out when I bent over to tie my shoe. The price point probably should be 5 bucks rather than 10. I'm going to repair it with some 3M VHB tape.

Little Mirror, A Lot of Use
I use this mirror on my Kelty Kids baby backpack so that I can view what my daughter is dong while she's in the pack during hikes. It works very well, and I love the zip line that the mirror is on. I also like that the mirror is on a locking carabiner, which I have hung other items off of as well. This is a must have product in my opinion if you are going to be hiking with a toddler pack. Also can double as a useful signaling survival tool.

Very happy with this mirror
This mirror is great! It came with a carabiner as well as a clip on on the back of the mirror. The mirror is also on a retractable rope/string which I missed in the description so I was pleasantly surprised about. The actual mirror is surprisingly good quality. Definitely worth the money and the perfect addition to our Deuter backpack carrier.

Cheap construction, very small - Buyer beware!
I bought this based on the high reviews, and thinking it would be a nice addition to our baby carrier. Unfortunately, it was so disappointingly cheaply made, that I immediately decided to return it. It's basically a small round mirror with double sided sticky foam attached to your standard retractable name tag clip, with a very cheap feeling carabiner (if you can even call it that). I'd certainly give it 5 stars if it cost $2 USD. But for $7-8 USD - it's a rip off. Do yourself a favor and make your own.

Not worth buying, make it yourself.
Cheaply made, fell apart when it arrived, and the split-ring has sharp ends, poked a hole in my goretex jacket. You can make this by buying a mirror from AutoZone, a retractible lanyard holder from officemax and a carabiner from the dollar store. Stick the mirror to the lanyard holder with some double sided tape and you're good to go. Great idea, but do it yourself.

Looks cheaply made, looks like a home made craft project. Besides that- it is a brilliantly handy tool.
